The beauty of the Smokey Mountains are doing God's hand in the reason why we have to make sure we take care of our planet every day...its breathtaking.
I watch a lot of your videos on TV. When I am inspired by them I go to my IPad and post my thoughts and of course, give a thumbs up. I love Cades Cove. There is a loving spirit about that place that is undeniable. You can feel the presents of the people that lived there and it’s so wonderful to look thru a window and see the beauty of the mountain thru their eyes knowing every morning they seen the sunrise and the sunset. This is a little piece of heaven on earth. Thanks for sharing your video I got to see it thru your eyes.
Beautiful mountain gravel road with gorgeous views. Your videography is awesome! Hoping our Honda Odyssey van can do this drive. Thank you so much for sharing it. Sending love and blessings your🇺🇸🙏💕🌸 way!
Really enjoyed this blog. Loved seeing you guys being chased by the turkey.! What an interesting hidden trail to travel. And your music just perfect! Thanks for taking us!
I love the close up with the flowers and butterflies. The mountain road would be wonderful to drive. Yes Will Cade’s Cove is truly God’s Country. You can get your thoughts together and think about how wonderful this place is. Yes Dawn be careful with the turkeys. Love ❤️ 🐻🏔
Detroit born and raised just got home Monday after spending 3 weeks in Cherokee, i visted alot of these cities. Bryson City, Dillsboro, Tuskegee, Sylva how can you not love it. I wasnt a fan of Gatlinburg a little too touristy. Home hasn't been the same since returning. I didn't catch Cades Cove maybe next time. I got alot of pointers and places to visit watching you two. Thx for the good content i enjoy watching just wish i could stay their! Maybe one day. Watch our for those turkeys...
My favorite place. As a child in Maryville our elementary class would take field trips in a school bus to cades cove and we would bring a sack lunch. And in 6th grade our classes would spend a week at Treemont in the lodge and hike and do other activities. It was a lot of fun. Love my mountains! Thanks for the video!
That was beautiful drive, loved the nature and animals! Hopefully, kids and I can do that sometime in memory for Tim. He would of loved it! Thank you Will and Dawn
We’ve been across Rich Mtn Rd 3-4 times. It used to be pretty rough and they even had a sign at the beginning that said 4 wheel dr vehicles only! They have obviously made some improvements since then. We loved it back in the day when virtually no one knew about it and you never saw another soul the entire drive. Loved the video!😊👍🏼 God Bless🙏
My husband and I love Rich Mountain. We take a lunch and sit on the back of his truck and enjoy the quiet. Last year, we saw a momma bear and two cubs, crossing the road. Then another momma bear with three Cubs, on the side of the road, eating something- it was amazing. Thanks for the video, enjoy you two. God bless you.
the wife and I have been through Cades Cove, and just went through there yesterday,we will go back one day this week and go down this road, thanks for all the great content.
I love how you captured the beauty of the Butterfly You guys keep me sane during this Mr Mcnasty You just make my day Love you guys I'm glad you were faster than the turkey Iv never seen them do that my husband tells me to watch out for them .
Love the cove. Miss it. Been going there for almost 20 years. Feels like home. Nothing like the mts. Been looking for a little place to live. Used to have a condo at deer ridge years ago but they didn’t accept pets and we got a dog.
That overlook of the church is one of my favorites! We have been down that road a lot, it can get a little rough but it's so much fun exploring places like that. We have never seen bear up there. Loved the killer attack turkey! (I know you didn't at the time) I needed a good laugh today! Thanks
We finally got to experience Cade's Cove at the end of July! So beautiful! Love seeing the optional drive that you guys took. Really enjoying your amazing videos and reviews. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication. We appreciate you guys and have learned so much from your videos 💗
I thought you were going to get got there for a minute. I love cades cove but have never taken that road. Thanks for sharing, that has a beautiful view.
I enjoyed the. Rich. Mtn. Road. But just over 40 years ago my wife & boyscouts went spelulunking in Rich Mountain Cave just off on the. Right side or the road. Watched to relive that time & it wasn't seen ?
Love cades cove its beautiful to see in the fall. And the horse back riding in there is really fun to do and not that pricey either. Thanks for the video:)
Crazy Turkey! I think y'all needed Bob and especially George to help with that turkey!😂🤣Maybe George could do a "big bird" and set that turkey straight about who's boss!🤣😂 Beautiful scenery! Thanks for the laugh, and taking us on a new road and adventure! Be blessed ya'll!😊❤️🇺🇸
Loved this video. The wildflowers, especially the purple ones, were beautiful. Loved the closeups of the butterfly on the flowers. It was so clear you could see the antennae on the butterfly. I don't blame you for running from the turkey; he looked mean. I've seen pictures from this road but have never driven it. Wished you had continued the video on into Townsend. Take care and safe travels!
Hey Will and Dawn. Watched your Cades Cove video. We woluld love to try that sometime like in October when the Leaves are changing. Awesome video guys. Steve and Lisa
Thanks for another great road trip. Cades Cove is one of my most loved places to go to. Always look forward to all your road trips. God bless you Will and Dawn for a long healthy life ahead.
Will, I like how you added interest by placing the camera on the road and showing the Jeep driving over and beside the camera. Always enjoy watching you and Dawn on your adventures. Your videos give us a virtual vacation while we are stuck at home. Have you guys ever checked out the Riverhouse at the Park in Gatlinburg? I’m from Knoxville originally, and we vacation in Gatlinburg several times per year. RH is our absolute favorite hotel. It borders the park on River Road and still has the the classic 1950’s Gatlinburg nostalgic look and feel. I think it’s a hidden gem. We always get the same corner room overlooking the creek. This is more of a hotel for people that want to experience “Old Gatlinburg,” and is one of the last motor lodges where you can call “011” from your room phone, and someone that reminds you of your mom will deliver homemade donuts and a carafe of coffee to your room-complete with melamine coffee cups! Thanks again!
I have been going to cades cove for over 30 yrs and did not know about that rd how i don't know cause i take all unknown rds maybe i thought it was for the rangers thank you so much for posting this next time take the rd all the way into Townsend so we can see where it comes out at.....have you guys ever stayed at Fayes cabins she has two of them and their up past the tuskaleechee caverns rd just a nice get away for a couple or a family of 4 good porch sitting and hot tubs not a really big fancy place but a peaceful get away...
We took this road in a thunderstorm one time. No rain but lightning all around. It was very exciting and very much enjoyed it. We enjoy this road in the Spring before all the leaves are on even better. Watch out for the Turkey, lol
Loved the overlook of the church, just beautiful ! Such a peaceful road to enjoy the beauty of the Smokies thank you for sharing ! Watch out for those turkeys Dawn, that one wasn't as nice as your ducks you visit !
Thank you so much for listening ❤️ This vlog was awesome 👏 I think it’s one of my new favorites. This is definitely where you two shine the most. My husband and I have taken this road before. We are the (take the road less traveled) kind of people. Thanks again, Will and Dawn 🤩 Hope your camera is ok.
WOW! Turkey Attack, spent last week in the Smoky Mountains and had a wonderful time. Cades Cove is the best. The elk in Catalouchee Valley were awesome.
Brother, my family and I took that road back in the summer of 2019. We were just learning our way around the cove, and got completely lost and wound up on Rich Mountain Road, gosh what a time! Some of those trees look like something Tarzan would swing on. My dad and mom described to me all of the trees and the nature scenes on that road. I hope to get back on that road again real soon. I am visually impaired, so I just had to imagine what we were looking at. I live on a dirt road myself, so the crunching of the gravels was very familiar to me. I wouldn’t mind just bringing a picnic lunch and having a picnic there. Thanks for all the wonderful videos you show, can’t wait till my next visit to the mountains, BTW, I’m hinting around to my folks to take me there for my birthday next year. Ha ha!
Thank You for the great video guy's. We missed Cades Cove this trip and I am kind of bummed. We did get to go to Cherokee though which was absolutely amazing. Love your video!
