Kinda makes since that this is louder than the Rover. It's seems like this is geared towards the person that wants something sporty but luxurious at the same time and doesn't mind a little engine rumble. The Rover seems like it just wants to be a luxury vehicle. Good video and when you get the time I would love to see the Mercedes S-class vs the top BMW.

Exactly. If you enjoy driving and you drive mainly on tarmac, this is one of the best SUVs out there. I enjoy every moment. It almost feels like a sport sedan than an SUV.
It's funny how sometimes we pronounce it Jawar, sometimes Jawire... The funniest is the way the British pronounce it, something like jageew-ah.

@@sideshowbob32 I drive a 3L V6 Prestige (non-S) and steering and seats are fully electrically adjustable.I think electric adjustable steering is standard.
No ventilated seats? Macan offers them at this price point along with the air suspension.
It does have them they're just an option. This is a very low-spec'd S missing lots of features that are optional.
Take a test drive in both - trust me you'll buy the F-Pace. Also - a lot of spares like disc rotors for the Porsche - are Porsche supply only - there are no 3rd party parts suppliers, and Porsche will have both hands in your wallet whilst Germanically smiling!.
A beautiful vista of the Wasatch Mountains! Wow; I am envious! And of the upward camber (angle) of that highway! -)
Isn't the dashboard in this model suppose to be digital screen instead of the analog ?
Based on package, not based on model. I have the non-S version in Prestige with three packages added (same engine but 340 BHP) with fully digital screen which is almost the same price as this one without much packages.

I would never buy a Jaguar product! Depreciation is insane, reliability is pretty low and after seeing Dick Van Dykes brand new Jaguar burn to the ground on the side of the road in California, I steer all my friends and family away from buying one.

My F Pace (V6 3L 340 BHP version) is 3 years old and it drives and performs fine. Other than regular services (which is free from Jag) and a punctured tire (due to road conditions) it never had any problems so far. It is one of the best SUVs to drive, almost feels like a sporty sedan than an SUV.

ONE REASON NOT TO BUY AN F-PACE-> Tata products (Jaguar & Land Rover/Range Rover) have just bout the WORST quality in terms of reliability of ANY major auto maker! Consumer Reports rates their reliability "Much Worse Than Average" (CR's lowest rating). As a contrast my $36,600. MAZDA CX-5 GT Reserve (2.5 L. turbo, AWD) is rated by Consumer Reports as Much Better Than Average" (CR's highest rating). I'll compare my 2019 CX 5 GT Reserve to an 4 cylinder F-Pace any day. Plus it looks just as good as the F-Pace, outside AND inside.
Not my experience in driving Jags in the UK for nearly 30 years now. No problems no breakdowns
The reliability issues is with the Range Rover but not with the Jaguar.
Beside Jaguar offers a 6 year guarantee

The Chinese car has a very odd details. First the infotainment. Such a big screen yet not well used. In fact you cannot change the radio stations from the steering wheel.
Lots of plastics.
Autostop is just too quick to stop.
No ventilated seats.
The Ford control Center is not well adapted.
Volume control is far from the driver and very slow to respond.
Not very good rear view camera
The keyless entry doesn't work all the time
Good things. Very nice pick up and go.
Lucky me. This is my wife's car and not mine. With almost 970 miles of road she realized this car is not for mud roads or deep snow. She wants my 2017 vw Touareg TDI executive. We call it the TANK.
