Thank you for this song, Mike. As a father with 4 young kids and a demanding job, it's hard to not get caught up in all of the difficulties in managing everything. I am trying my best to recognize the blessings all around me and enjoy the moments while I have them all under one roof, while still actively trying to strengthen my marriage. I am so glad you continued your musical pursuit after 10th Avenue North. My wife and I saw your band multiple times and would see you if you ever headed to Iowa. Wow Mike, this song really moved me. Your new songs are so powerful, and I’m really moved by them. The lyrics “in my head and looking from the outside” is so relatable, like that’s what I do all the time everyday and I wanna stop it. I think it’s a trauma response to how I acted when I was abused as a kid but I wanna change it. God is with me and his words are so powerful and healing. I always feel like God has spoken to me through your music as well as Tenth Avenue North included. Hearing those songs first really helped me, so many of them “You are More” and “By Your Side” are two serious tear-jerkers. Keep up the amazing work, you have a beautiful family and are blessed. I hope That God will provide me that some day.

Its truly amazing how you can translate well so many feelings and put them into songs. Many times I'm struggling with things in my head (things that I feel way more than I can understand) and then I hear some of your songs and "boom" that's it. I feel naked, my sinful heart has been revealed and that leads me to repentance and surrender. God is being known and glorified through your songs, and I hope this will never make you go astray because (Like you said) It's not you, its him in you and he can use anybody, but thankfully you've been faithful and humble so He can keep doing that.
