    I feel her keep out game is weak compared to the cast. ff+3 seems to be the best keep out move from the bunch, but they killed the ch properties. SS4 was great in T5-T7, but seems every tekken, they keep nerfing the range. Feels like the weakest it has ever been. WR2 is great for aggressive players but is in effective for placers that are good at spacing and keep their aggro low. f4 is ok, it's just too slow and gets beaten out by a lot of things. uf4 gets floated too much. I feel she eats a lot of things if you don't throw it out at the right moment. It's easy pickings for Jun, Asuka, or Claudio or any character that has a range launcher on steroids.

      d/f 1 is honestly pretty effective, not great range but okay pushback. spamming it turns it into a mixup, usually go for a hellsweep once they realize it's spammable

      @@ottersimdude yes , I thought I was trippin for thinking it but this is my first tekken game ever and I’m hard stuck between bushin and tekken king and it seems like I get d1 out of everything. I’ve come to the conclusion that I basically suck as of right now tho and have to learn character matchups and everyone plays differently with each character no matter if it’s the same one so

      @@ottersim yeah. Her neutral game is horrible which doesn’t really work for T8. Makes her one of the worst characters in the game.

    While rising 2 has saved my skin so many times. Can it be reliably used as a punish for low-blocks, or would you recommend something else?

    • @roopadoops792
      @roopadoops792 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There's quite a few punishment moves for low blocks while rising, namely 4, 1->4, and 1+2 1+2
      I think they might be covered in many ling punishment guides :)

    1, 1,2, and 1,2,1 are my preferred moves for keep out. The majority of the moves listed are too slow most of the time to react to an opponent.

    • @Lingnation
      @Lingnation  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There seems to be a misunderstanding, it's keep out not whiff punishment, you don't react to an opponent with these moves. Also careful with 121 as you can get whiff punished very easily.

    • @1nternationa7
      @1nternationa7 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      When I say react to the opponent, I mean them starting to move in my direction. I usually throw these out to try and intercept moves like Claudio’s WR moves which in best case scenario gets me a float.
      You are right in the case of getting whiff punished. I try to vary the length of the strings so that the opponent is unsure about when they can punish. Occasionally I can catch them.

    Its so hard to fight yoshi shaheen law, any idea deal with it?

    • @VillainessAO
      @VillainessAO 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For me I don't have any specific tips as I struggle too to be honest... In my opinion Yoshi is really not that hard once you start to memorise the way his animations look. He was such a hassle for me at first too... But now he's become easier to fight against. Law as well. Can't say much about Shaheen as I legit think I only fought like 8 Shaheen players so far loll. But what I also do is download ghosts of those past players who used those characters. Granted the ghosts are far easier and predictable, but it gives you good knowledge about the characters strings for example. About when to press and when not to press. Other than that, what I do is go into practice mode and record all the chars moves that you find hard to defend against. This can literally just be like the 4-5 worse moves and then lab it in practice. Learn it's frames. Honestly this helped me so much.

    Good stuff! Curious though why you don’t consider uf 3+4 a keep out move

    • @jasonh6312
      @jasonh6312 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      uf3+4 is good for closing a lot of distance quickly, kind of the opposite of a keepout move. It's also not homing or good for counterhit fishing, which is a big part of these keepout moves

      @lukaspali
      My guess would be it's linearity & long range means it's a high commitment move, compared to the other moves which can be thrown out with much less commitment/ risk of punishment
