Bro your videos have pushed my Xiayou above and beyond 😭 I can’t thank you enough! I just hit blue ranks and It’s truly because of your guides and techniques that really help my mental map during a match! Cheers mate !!
I am still pretty overwhelmed by all the stuff you show us about Xiaoyu and I am already coming back to this video a third time but I just want to thank you for all your effort and passing on your knowledge. I really appreciate it! :)
Yo I was literally wondering if there was a movement guide on twitter. I appreciate your work bro. I hit red ranks last night after coming across ur ling guide this weekend
I picked up Ling in T8 due to my old main not being in the game. Your videos have all been amazing and super helpful. In fact, I would say they were a huge factor for me trying her in the first place. I was a huge fan of the T7 blasted salami style guide videos. When I came upon your ultimate Ling guide I gave her a shot and have my new main in T8. Thanks for all the hard work you do and educational content you pump out. Nothing but love for Mr. Croft!
As a Xiao Xiao player, this video has been a very great help!! You are really correct about her being very evasive as a character. It gradually developed my skills as a Xiaoyu player. Thank you bro! Danke!!
Thank you, I love this style of video . I just want to hear your soothing voice, it helps a lot in understanding these concepts since this is my first tekken. I would love a breakdown video like this on some reliable combo strings you’ve found.
@@Lingnation trust, you are a blessing to us noobies trying out tekken this year. Seriously though your voice feels like the cool teacher, that takes their time to make sure you understand the concepts of the class. Your thought process while playing is the most important. Inputs on screen do help too.
Damn your timing is perfect! Thank you! Getting my leverless pad tomorrow and going to relearn everything. Movement was a big topic on my list of what habbits to build
If I can get this fluid I'm gonna be so happy. I'm terrible at backdashing (the motion is kinda uncomfortable) so these moves feel like a good way to move around fast and get those whiffs
i feel the same way about up/down 3+4 in neutral. Sidestep just seems to work much better and without the parry, I can't see a reason to use it other than aesthetic. RDS up/down 3+4 I feel is much better though since it covers a much farther distance. Definitely gonna abuse that one.
Hey, so one thing I’ve been wondering about is do you have drills (specifically for movement) that we can try and replicate to really solidify her transitions and what goes into what? I was doing something like: SSr, d1+2, 1+3d, d1+2, 2+4, d1+2, b3+4, f3+4, ff3*4. You’ll notice none of these are really attacks just cancels, not sure if that makes sense
Can you also do another guide that show examples of how to use it in a match or common set ups with this movement option to evade a retaliation from an opponent and punish? I know the most comin one is after ff3 to do db or b3+4 and then launch punish a whifh
I second this, I struggle to find neutral/poke gameplan with xiaoyu, would be great if you can create a general gameplan guide with xiaoyu. One frame trap I found is ff4 and immediately 2 while in hyp stance, but the initial ff4 is high and kinda risky if it doesn't connect.
You should search a joke T7 ‘guide’ named how to be toxic with xiaoyu, it’s not really a joke guide but its both useful and funny somewhat ironically helped me understand her better. After all, sometimes when you play Tekken, or even any FG really there are what i call ‘green-rank strats’ where for example with Xiaoyu, (this is obviously unsafe af but mashy players would fall for it) i would do FF3 and immediately do BT4. Or if you do 3+4 into AOP (forces crouch, neutral on block), you do her 3+4 low or 2,1 move, just some examples of course
thanks this will help a lot since im struggling with her bad backdash. and it gave me an idea since you can do powercrush out of FC now you can use it if they're really not respecting ws2
Can you make a guide for stance transitions as well like which moves can transition to hypno or other ones with how to do so would be amazing to have ? 🥰
I love all the new attacks that end in hypnotist in T8. I liked that stance in 7, but it was super under utilized because it was always an extra input. What kind of input device do you use? I normally use an Xbox 1 controller, but I am in the process of building a mini hitbox type device to use and I think that will really improve how fast I can dance around the map.
Thank you. From what I am watching in initial small tournaments, the cheapest/overpowered characters are King, Yoshimitsu and Devil Jin. Ling players will need all the strategies they can get.
2:59 How do you cancel Phoenix stance to standing and spam AOP? Edit: Nvm found it, you have to press up and let go really really fast. I tried it before and I keep jumping because I didn't let go fast enough.
I would love a guide on aop specifically sensei. I'm having trouble establishing it in game. Also, any match up specific strings she can avoid with it would be the amazing aswell. Truly appeciate you

Got a test today but I'm out here studying Tekken instead 😭
Hope it went well!

Thank you so much for this comment, I'm so happy that you've found your main and that it's Ling. This really made my day 🙏
Julia will be in the game soon 😭

Movement has always been my weakness, this is invaluable! Thank you!! 🎉
Thank you for showing me how to play this character in this difficult game
thanks, its really helpful for me bc I was a lei main in t7 so now i found xiaoyu and she is so fun
I picked this character randomly because I like the kungfu moves, now it seems like I picked the right one.

For some reason, I have the EXACT SAME opinion about this lol
The content very educational and his voice is great for that
Wow thank you so much! I was actually very insecure about posting videos with only my voice over them, hearing that you guys like it means a lot 🙏

i was waiting for this - this is going to be super useful!!! thank you!!

Perfect. Just what we needed! Thank you Xiaoyu God
Bro I watched your guide and got ganryu like two days later, thank you so much!
Every minute I was learning a new stance/movement and going “wtf is this character”
Great video to showcase movement
That's some amazing stuff. Thank you for sharing. Now to try to implement this in my game play.
This!! This is what I was looking for, for a very long time to really upgrade my gameplay since T7. It’s even more important than learning combos.
How can you say for a really long tome to upgrafe since Tekken 7 when Tekken 8 only came out less than 3 weeks ago 😂
@@TTIOTTBecause i play Xiaoyu In T7. How many years T7 has? I always searched some kind of tutorial since those days..
Wonderful content 😮❤, ps.: xiaoyu was never that fast, im glad of that shes invencible in right hands
Compared to mine your xiaoyu looks like i have the video at 1.5x speed
Been waiting for this, thank you as always ❤️

THIS IS WHAT I NEEDED THANK UUUUUU
The hero we need, but not deserve. Mr Croft!!
holy shit, I had no idea you could cancel the throw animation
Hi sensei
Can you please tell me how to cancel her hypnotist stance ?
She does something similar to the heat cancel
We cannot cancel the hypnotist stance, Xiaoyu cannot block in the first 1-2 seconds! After that we can move around again.
@@Lingnation i saw yoredz doing that maybe not a cancel but a transition.
Ill look for it and send

just a question, but guys do you think they're going to bring back rage drives?
Tnx!! Really needed that 🎉
Thank you! Did you play Xianghua in Soul Calibur ever?
I read the title as Ling Xiaoyu Moment
Question for you: what controller/joystick do you use? Your movements seems effortless. Im contemplating a switch.
I'm actually using the ps5 pad! 😄
I just read that in the comments. Thanks, very impressive.
really helpfull man, ty
do you have your buttons mapped in a way that makes it easy to use 1+3/2+4 moves and 2+3 moves
Nice movement guide
Omg you did it!!!! Thank you so much!!!!
Bruh i was just looking for one of these earlier lol thanks im getting better but need to work on movement
That backflip... ot happens sometimes, but how do I actually do it?
I can't get it either
@@jasonpierce3968 it's b,ub (back then upback) , unless you're talking about ub+ 3 ?
I think it b, ub. Not the the ub3. Will try it
I got it, thx!
Thank you!
Great guides more please
Thanks sensei!
How are you rolling multiple times in a row? Mine cancels after one roll
very nice thx for this video
thank you
Maybe this is a stupid question but how are you canceling the Phoenix stance without doing anything?
just need to tap up. make sure you're quick though, or else she'll jump
@@TheOneWhoConquers thank you for this 👣
never under estimate the power of ws2 after a cancel its a VERY effective bait
can she do this in tekken 7? 😶
edit: yeah she pretty much can
Bless u bro
Damn it’s gonna take me some time to make her movement look as fluid as you make it 😂😂😂 she looks scary tho like I wouldn’t want to fight you.
thx
I’m a tekken beginner and a xiaoyu main, watching this helped me a ton but I still have so much to lean
I will xiaoyu how to move show you 😅
Her back 3+4 feels pointless sometimes
Thanks so much for these videos🥹
