Paul, I love your knowledge and enthusiasm for cars. Growing up in Hollywood CA in the 60’s and 70’s it was natural to see beautifully kept old cars, to this day Californians love their old cars. As to the Chrysler Super Bird I remember seeing them as a young boy and thinking they were a bit over the top and exaggerated, but today they are more pleasing to the eyes. My dad bought a used Hunter Green Charger with the recessed grill and flip up front head lights and beautiful gas cap on rear fender. To me that was a work of art 😊

The COPO Camaro was first introduced in 1969 and reintroduced in 2012 after a 2011 announcement. The NHRA Factory Stock Showdown cars highlight this newer generation COPO Camaro. No VIN, No Title, etc. I had a 69 COPO and a two 69 Z-28s. Enjoy the big show bud! Wish we were coming out so maybe we could meet up and "talk cars!" Enjoy the show. Take care!!! ;)

Paul, have you ever been to the Zimmerman or the Marconi Auto Museums in LA? If not I'd highly recommend them. SO good! Thanks for this "tour" and all the info!
I've been to the Marconi Museum a couple of times but haven't heard of the Zimmerman. My favorite is in Oxnard and it is called The Mullin Automotive Museum.
@@travelingcatphotos Oh, I didn't know it by that name. I have been there and it's a very nice museum. There's also the Nethercut Collection, which was free the last time I went and it's in Sylmar. They have 2 separate collections and for one of them you need a reservation (still no cost) because it's a guided tour. Well worth the visit, and besides cars the tour takes you into a room with a HUGE Pipe Organ, then another room dedicated to Mascots (hood ornaments). You'll love it!

If you will be near Scottsdale Saturday evening, there is a collector’s car show at the Pavilions on Talking Stick (previously known as Indian Bend) on the north side of the Pavilions. They are there every Saturday Evening. It attracts many people and cars but is fun because the owners are there and are very interesting to talk to. Hope you get a chance to go. Great video. One of my friends had a plain jane 69 2 door with the 440 six pack and 4 speed stick. That thing was awesome! My days of muscle cars are over but I still appreciate seeing them. One reason I don't want one anymore is the traffic. It's insane where I live. It's funny seeing a supercar and econobox inching their way in the same lane.
Great video Paul, so much fun to wander around the auction floor. I was able to do it here at Kissimmee Mecum auction a few years ago and had a great time! I am wondering if Ford is going to have the same issues they are having in the Raptor with that engine in the GT, they are burning oil and Ford is telling the customers it’s normal. With gas engines I love the V8!
I hadn't heard that about the engine but I'm not surprised given how much HP they're squeezing out of it. As a Field Engineer I was supposed to tell customers that anything less than 1qt in 1,000 was "normal". I never did, and anything that used more than a quart in 3,000 got a new engine. The reps didn't much like it but I told them if they wanted my help then they played by my rules.
It is so crazy you are posting this as we watch the Barrett Jackson show. Have fun because there are so many beautiful cars. How do you ever pick just one?

Yes, most of the muscle cars didn't much care for idling in bumper to bumper traffic, but like you I still enjoy looking at them.
