I'm currently a first year student at AUT, I was in tears, your words of wisdom, encouraging us to be strong and don't give up, staying positive, having the right attitude to study and aim high!, in 2 years time I will be age 40, and i know for sure i will walk through that stage and I can't wait!! I like this. But to say "we carry our ancestors on our shoulders"? I have to strongly disagree with. Our ancestors are giants, pioneers, innovators, warriors, explorers etc. When we walk across this stage, we walk with them in our hearts, because that is the only place where we are strong enough to carry them. Love your stuff though uce, you are going to be amazing in whatever you do. peace
Was that a bachelors in drama? PFFT! communications degree, wow so difficult! A 'bit' over the top, leave this sort of speeches for us who have completed a bachelors in mechanical engineering, that deserves this sort of dramatic speech.....communications... LOL
