Apparently the pop out was also a problem on the EasyConnect app and back in 2019 it was so damn buggy. But it was fixed somewhere in 2022 and now it properly mirrors the screen with touch. Hopefully proton at least integrates CarPlay for ios devices while stick to QDlink/EasyConn with Android devices. With the latter, they're one step closer to provide screen-off connection for nav apps like maps/waze which they aredy do with Spotify.
Hope Proton improved part where; 1) Alert for choose between watch video when start driving for passengers or continue with driving screen mode 2)Improve IOS connectivity in Proton System Update great review update bro👌🏼

Hi as far as I know, the proton persona mc2 Executive variant don't have QD Link. But, i think they come with another screen mirroring feature, called easy connection. I think its feature is similar to QD link, you can use that instead. But i think you will have download the easy connection app on your phone fist, just like the QD link. Hope this info helps.
@@MrShawnwws yes with iPhone it is easier to connect just 1 cable and of course if you play any app the volume will come out from the speakers. But the only downside is once the car starts moving the screen mirroring will stop working as a safety precaution. So no point use screen mirroring if you wanna play music. It's better to just connect your phone to the Bluetooth.
Hi bro. I noticed alot of people ask me this question. But my car never needed to log in to atlas. I am not sure if it is because the newer batch have updated OS interface or something but mine never requires to log in to atlas. So for this i always advice them to go back to proton service centre and ask them to reconfigure. Because obviously if you cannot log in from your end, it has to be done from their side. Good luck bro.
You may check with Atlas customer service or Proton customer service. I have this issue previously, and after calling to customer service. I realise proton have key in my data wrongly. after they fixed it, I am able to login Btw, you need to use the phone number that you register for the car to create an account
I tried to connect my ios waze to qd link with the cable. But it still says ‘ please use USB to connect your phone to the car’ which I’ve already connected it. Is there something that I’ve done wrong?
@@norshahirayaakop6678 the apple app store don't have QD Link app. To use screen mirroring just use the cable. It works fine on my iphone. Not sure if it's compatible with the latest iphone tho.
If you are playing youtube while you are driving, it wouldn't play because it is a safety feature to prevent people from watching youtube while driving. But if your gear is in P, it should play.
@@kokfeichong9598 may i know which USB slot did you connect your cable to? Make sure you connect it to the slot that is closest to your steering wheel which is the 3rd slot.

If not mistaken the Executive variant has a different type of screen mirroring feature but i think it's not QD link. Never tested the executive variant so i am not sure.
Now i kinda feel regret buying persona premium. Imagining thing that doesn’t exist. The built in navigation sucks. Not even integrated with google maps. 😂

Bro, how did you manage to login to atlas. I registered from phone and tried to login at the Head unit but it still says wrong password and email.

Not bad, around 6.5 to 7.00L/100km. It is usually between that if you are easy on the pedal.

Hi, may i know which USB slot did you plug the cable in? Only 1 USB slot supports phone linking which is the slot closest to the driver’s side.
