You can also do a similar trick by using guardians. Guardians don’t cost any AP but you can use your AOE to bring in barbs them walk away from the guardian but keep the barb triggered. Literally free barbs

Yes this method really does take more time to do, however it removes alot of the frustration from losing the barb chain. Hope it helps everybody
