22:39 every scripted chase has the appearance of the last victim(that's why the other time you try to unlock the door the ao oni has mikas hair because that is the scripted chase) and the version that your playing has 10x more random encounters that the original and I recommend playing the original but if you want to play the new version it's harder with all of the random encounters hop this helps
I love how old games are coming back like this it’s very nice and nostalgic … it’s not like it was in the past fully but that’s normal wee grow up see things differently … hope some new generations get to enjoy these videos of older games as much as I did in the past .

Green doesn't really exist as much as it does here. In fact you can look up, "Japanese traffic lights." The lights will look blue as it is in fact seen as a shade of green. I'm unaware why ao oni is considered blue by the creator though it may be due to a similar reason.

Ao Oni! I used to play this with my friends at uni! We also played a fangame of it and of the anime Axis Powers: Hetalia called Heta Oni (I believe it was). Heta Oni was much *much* longer and incomplete but I admit I liked it better than Ao Oni, maybe because I cared about the characters more.
