The audio depends on what you're using to screen record. For example, if it's a Mac computer they don't record internal audio normally. If this is your case I have a video on how to record internal audio on Macs as well th-cam.com/video/kCGjf7pt1DI/w-d-xo.html The video is for Macs but the steps can be applied to Windows computers too.

What sucks for me is that when tho I see other creators watching movies and stuff, when I tried to do it, TH-cam blocked it for copywrite
The trick is only showing a few seconds or less than cut to you. Watch the channels that are monetized to see what I mean.

I just needed to record my elementary school choir performance that was on the news, and a blacked out screen was preventing me from sharing it with the parents! Simple home movie-library-type recordings that used to be easily done on a VCR now takes quite a bit of work around. Thank you for a relatively easy fix!

Oh Cool, it actually works! The same procedure of disabling hardware acceleration applies to the Microsoft Edge browser.. The user setting interface is not the same, but I figured it out. My recording app is OBS Studio. Thank you so much for the tip. A footnote here as many streaming services tried to block the recording. It's not illegal to record anything on the web or TV providers, it is to share and/or broadcast/webcast the copyrighted content without permission though. Any personal private use is perfectly legal. The same issues happened decades ago with the introduction of the VCR. BTW on Microsoft Edge, we can display 1080P from many streaming sources. (On Firefox most were not blocked, but like on Chrome, we can only see a max of 720P resolution)

I have a very personal and specific reason for wanting this. A documentary was made, and my husband was the feature of it. It ended up winning a few awards, so yeah, it has this block. While it was being filmed, he was in chemo, so the producers thought I was ck blocking his interviews. That wasn't at all true. He was so sick that he'd ask me, even plead with me to screen all of his calls and tell them no. They didn't even put him in the credits, but for some reason put me in, and I think that was just some weird smack, because they used historic footage. The step and repeat was weird for us. Fans line up for him alone. I just want to get some of the old footage they found of him from the 80's, that we could never get. Thanks, respect.

This is awesome, I wanted to use a specific quote from Deadpool as a reaction gif in a conversation but I couldn't find a gif anywhere so I figured I'd just make my own. Didn't realize Movies Anywhere would show up all black if I tried to record it. Your video came up when I Googled "screen recordings on movies anywhere all black screen" and when I tried your tip it worked perfectly! Just turned off this ONE setting and it indeed bypassed DRM.

DUDE thank you so much for this. i use firefox and i found this same solution on reddit but it never specified to use chrome. firefox does have the same settings so i figured it would work the same, but it would not work whatever i tried. switching to chrome fixed everything. i spent hours looking for a way to fix this and you are a lifesaver man, tysm :D

If you're just starting go with the Blue Yeti USB microphone for voiceovers. It's just plug and go. My Blue Yeti microphone was my first investment in my channel back in 2017 and it still works great so they're good quality. A good video editing program for beginners is Filmora Worldshare and it's not expensive. When I got mine it was only a $50 one time payment. So no subscriptions. If you're more serious about editing go with PremierPro. I started with Filmora myself for the first years but when I started editing longer videos on my movie review channel I had to switch to PremierPro. It's like $23 a month but when your channel is monetized it pays for itself. Since it's a popular subscription service it has waaaaaay less issues than the cheaper or free options. Streaming websites have a system that can detect when someone's attempting to screen record. By us turning off the hardware acceleration option it also stops their systems from detecting screen recording.
