You look great! The Basics "old school", whatever you want to call it is what works! Consistency is King. These young kids don't know what they are talking about. They have a lot to learn and can learn from you and other "old" guys.
Best attitude towards bodybuilding: Not fun when viewed as an addiction or obligation. Sports, including bodybuilding, should be fun. Keep up the good work Jeff!
The fact that someone like yourself, a renowned coach and veteran competitor, is getting coached just goes to show that there is always more to learn, no matter how much experience you have. And "old school" or not, what you're doing is obviously working.
Señor whoever called you "old school" i can be sure they didn't meant it in a wrong way! a lot of us myself included are subscribe to your channel to learn and implement your ways, much respect to you & your team.
Patience is a virtue indeed. Great video. Literally can't wait to see the final product and also see what another year of gaining does for my physique too.
Jeff, you have absolutely nothing to prove neither should you take shit from anyone. You are an elite in the sport of bodybuilding. Keep lifting that iron as you always have. You have my respect.
Great video, Jeff! I love that kind of mindset to go about it & had great success with much the same principles during my last gaining phase (nearly a full year) despite being "a young guy"... however, I am finding it much more difficult to transfer over that mindset to maintain structure & consistency while now cutting. While gaining, it's very easy to stay focused because you can see the weights/reps slowly going up over time. It's objectively definable, it's something you can map out & plan for in pure numbers... it doesn't lie. However, with cutting, that mental cue sort of dies as progress on the performance aspect comes to a halt. Rather, it becomes much more a mentality of "please please don't perform worse today than last week." Now granted, seeing new striations/veins still pretty good for motivation in the moment, it's just more difficult to define on a long-term basis as a "logic-based thinker" since it's not objective.
Coach Jeff it seems like you typically train 3-4 days, can you share with us your usual program i.e: frequency-volum-exercise selection.. the reason is that there is no way I can do PPL or any other type of program that require more than 3 days in the gym.. I have trained using 3/2 days full body routines and over 1.5 years I had really good result and would like to add more knowledge so I can be more efficient in my programming.. thank you
godamn you you video editing software, the last bit of audio was cut off, I now feel I am going to be on a life journey to hear the rest of that sentence.
Jeff, do you have a hernia? Marc Lobliner's abs also began to split outward in the middle and it ended up being because of a hernia... maybe something to check out?
Is being over 40 a huge thing in Natural Bodybuilding? 'Cause most bodybuilders at the Olympia stage are in their mid to late 40's and just now blooming, getting noticed

Right on! Couldn't agree with that more. So easy to be impatient. Just need to keep nose to the grind stone and stay the course!
