not the game turning to cod but in terms of its monetization model. and 98% of people working on previous BF is an exaggeration but still high.. hope this help
*Mild Shock* The last really good game in this franchise was BF1. They screwed BF5, which had fun gun play at some point, had the potential to be the best WW2 game ever, but they screwed it up with unsolicited changes and then killed the game mid content. It's just a live service, shut up, we are moving developers to 2042 blah, blah, blah. You just wait, 2042 will be the best BF game ever, love letter to fans and flashback to BF 3 and 4. Aaaaand they screwed up that one as well. Third time's the charm they said, the next battlefield will surely be the one, get hyped and don't forget to pre-order. Anyone who believes EA with this franchise at this point is an idiot. Just let it die.
One last chance buddy. It's not about us, letting it die or not. The next game as I've always said, is a final stand. They mess that up, the franchise is dead...
WW2 like the BF1 and BF5 games were good on release, but 80% of player base wants a modern warfare, we want to use lasers and Acog scopes, we want 21 century guns and not old guns, we want jets and tanks, not old ones, it was a game that already tended to die even if it was perfect, BF2042 came long way, i think in my opinion that 2042 is amazing how it is, maybe some little changes and the game is freaking amazing to play, theres no Battlefield kinda of game that compares and reach to the level of 2042, next battlefield they will continue with the same base (conquest and rush) but they will make a game mode similar to CS from what ive heard, they will still want to have different game mods, theres people even claiming that the new Bf Will have a battleroyal like PUBG, the good thing is Beta test are usually free and for everyone
Yearly releases seems impossible considering DICE or other BF studios can't make a complete game in 3 years + 3 years of post launch content. CoD can do that because CoD maps are tiny compared to BF maps and single CoD studio like IW or Treyarch has like 4000+ employees, combined BF studios employees are like 1300+ people afaik. I do think this post has some merit though. I don't think we will see legacy BF features back such as server browser, platoons etc. If there is a server browser it will be hidden behind a mode like Portal imo. I hope I'm wrong though and we will get a fully fleshed out BF experience with platoons, server browser and persistent servers though. I fear they will inject SBMM tumor into BF but I hope I'm wrong.
Service game is not a big problem and it is probably unavoidable for a big multiplayer game at this point. The problem is when devs try to copy popular games to a point where it gives the same vibes and has the same accents. Because it is a different game, core players don't want it to play as Cod because it is Battlefield. Yet all we get are mechanical Cod clones. Including 2042 and for example new Delta Force which strangely many see as Battlefield successor. But actually because of how people see Delta Force, because how popular are cqc and clusterfaq maps such as metro, because of how unpopular more grounded combat arms games I would say that the community wants it to become Cod, yet can't admit it.
Well, Battlefield 4 and 3 had both grounded maps and cqc but nobody calls them CoD clones because they're not! The community is wrecked because the vets are gone. The new players know literally nothing about Battlefield and that's why their expectations are more cod like...
@@M107Gaming while they were, the most popular map was Metro which is literally a cod gameplay. It was so popular that there were many servers with Metro 24/7. The community was leaning towards Cod already back then. So I don't really understand the dissonance when there are leaks that devs want to create a cod competitor.
Shock horror disgruntled EX DICE employee slags off previous company , the same employee that along with the rest they let go who fked up the BF franchise
Yea DICE released bf4 in a broken state instead of fixing the game after it's released the server still has the same issue since launch. So a new normal was that they keep releasing games in a broken state ever since from bf5 to bf2042.
@ Well sorry but if you keep churning out failures then its down to the company to make changes , personally im glad they did ive zero confidence in the people who have made the last two games, of course he is going to slag off the new team
I hate Call of Duty that's the reason I buy Battlefield games is because I don't like the other game so if they turn it into Cod I'll just go play Arma
Remember guys....Do not pre order I repeat do not pre order....
👍👍
There will still be people pre ordering unfortunately
@@OperatorMax1993 I'll try to spread the message when the news on the game or a possible trailer comes out!
Just my opinion but I think they tried to make Battlefield 5 more like COD that’s when I stopped playing Battlefield. Played everyone before this

@ Both BF 1 and BF V have higher player count than 2042, so it might be only your opinion, stats say otherwise.

Yeah, I really hope they just avoid SBMM man that's just cancer!
So does this mean no vehicle in the next battle field because infantry wise battle field 4 was already COD.
How so??
@ in matches with just infantry bf4 felt like MW2 gameplay. Vehicles are the only gimmick battle field had that drew customers away from COD.
