Thank you CUC for showing my team some love and especially taking the time during your busy schedule to cheer them on in priority seating! With only one team there, small team means small numbers of spectators/parents to cheer you on and we all know having people cheer the athletes will feed off that energy! They were very nervous first event of the season (for half the team it was their first competition ever) so your support made them feel special and they even won the US Finals Golden Ticket with a not so stellar performance. I truly believe having a great support system and crowd helps 😉We will definitely do the same for y’all at future events! Best wishes for an amazing season! Thank you again!
That was a mess. And let that be a lesson learned to the folded arms and the bad attitudes, all of the marking and never going full out, marking tumbling and stunts...if you practice half ass, you preform half ass. It breaks my heart for the girls (most of them) who actually WANT to be there and give it 100%, 100% of the time. If I were the coach, cuts would be being made. Period.

@@luvandyful they performed how they practice. they just have to try harder in practice. Kamiya said she couldn’t do her tumble pass because she was too tired. Just goes to show you get out what you put in.
@@layhood2502 exactly they need to build stamina and core strength by conditioning and running their routines full out in practice. They shouldn't be marking skills and stunts that they don't have down. Mckenzie and a couple other girls did it full out in practice and it shows in this performance.

all the failed stunts should be a wake up call for these ladies.. i hate seeing the little ones cry because they didn't hit their stunts , this should reallly be a wake up call..
@@jennaaa-ny6zq What do you mean? This is their first competition for Majesty. Unless you're talking about Level 3 Royal Empress from last season. They hit almost all of their stunts during the Summit last season. If they did mess up, you wouldn't even notice it. Majesty has time to grow being this is their first competition. I really hope the girls watch this video and learn from their mishaps.

I pray these girls learn from their mistakes and are humble from that experience. They were fortunate to not have anyone to compete against this time. If they want to talk the talk of being in "1st place" they need to walk the walk of a champion, meaning taking practices seriously and listening and obeying their coaches and mentors. We all know these girls have the full potential to be greater than they are right now but if they don't change their attitudes and behaviors during practices, they will never progress. I think the girls need to set personal goals for themselves as well as team goals rather than just hoping they "survive" a performance. Nevertheless congrats on the 1st place girls, but don't be complacent and keep pushing yourselves to be better!

Goals indeed they need like they’re doing competitive all star cheer and it seems like none of them want to move up to a level 5 team, go to worlds, win worlds, be on this team, cheer at that gym, meet this and that famous cheerleader, cheer at xyz college, learn a new skill like nothing…
@@queenjh7147 yep great examples! Those vibes just aren't expressed with the majority of the team yet. Working with the Top Gun coaches brought that productive spirit out of them but they need to be responsible of bringing that out of themselves at every practice and performance

They absolutely compete the same way they practice. We couldn’t even get everyone to pull up their socks!!! The lack of discipline is mind blowing and had they truly conditioned/gone full out they wouldn’t have been so tired. I feel for the ones crying and appreciate the ones who did in fact encourage their teammate.

Some didn’t even tumble, stunts falling, they’re running into each other and motions are all over the place. Same things that happen at practice. It’s honestly a slap in the face to coach Tazhia. Yes the won first place but they didn’t deserve it with that performance. It’s frustrating watching them work on this routine since the start of the season and they’re still performing like they just learned it. Smh

At first, the title hyped me up. The beginning of the video literally had me on the edge of my seatttt. But then I watched the performance and was dissatisfied.. I can definitely see where all the talking and playing around through practices has led them. Sure, 1st place victory.. But was it deserved? Hell no.
Actually, it was their first comp and maybe you never did comp cheer because every team makes mistakes every team my team went against made a mistake even we did nothing is perfect all you have to do is just go to practice work on it a little more and continue if they didn't care they would not be crying so just let them have their first victory and yes they did deserve it

This is the first time I've ever seen a full routine. Yea it was real rough but i still saw some potential. I liked the ending dance sequence and that's the last impression so that's a plus,. Just need a lot more fundamental stunt clinics so you can put more L4 elements in the routine and some other cleanups and yall could really do some things!
This team has the potential to be GREAT! The performance wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good either. The dance was my favorite part! …but miss Keri wasn’t even trying during the dance portion 🤦🏽♀️ Just because she is the coaches daughter doesn’t mean she just automatically belongs in the front. Good job ladies on your first competition!! You all can only get better from here 💙💛

They really tried, but we got to be honest with them, this was not a first place performance. They should go back and watch this as a team so they can see what coach Tazhia has been preaching every practice. There was a lot of cockiness at the end about winning First place, but these girls have to really watch this performance and see that there is still a lot of room for improvement! But good job all together!
PS: the other CUC team that is a level 2 team actually looked like more of a level 4 team compared to Majesty team. Keep working ladies.
I agree. When I was watching I was thinking to myself how they even got first.
They were the only team in their division so automatically they got first place. So if none of their stunts hit they still would've won first place. This was not a competition more of a showcase 😕

They literally performed just how they practiced too. Some didn’t do their stunts, some didn’t hit their tumble passes, dropped stunts, etc.
I remember when this team was first shown on this channel and we were all in awe of their skill. Though the previous season wasn’t perfect they had heart and A LOT of skill. Sadly that’s gone with this group not level 4 by any means. Cuts definitely needed to be made but more importantly coach Black you need to reevaluate, is this a true representation of your brand? Is this what you envisioned when you built this team? Serious reflection needs to be done.
I hope the coaches actually help the girls understand why they won , bc you hear baby girl saying “ you guys doubted us but we won , we proved u wrong “ when in fact you didn’t prove us wrong bc u performed how u practiced . Congrats on 1st place but understand that you guys still have A lot to work on as a team
(Ik im late) Don’t congratulate them on a first place they got by default. They were the only ones in that division. I wish they had competition to push them to take it more seriously. It’s like they were like “we gon we anyways so who cares.” A lot of them are not taking it seriously…as seriously as a level 4 competitive team should. It’s sad cuz they all have so much potential if they just stop goofing around most of the time.

maybe instead of looking at the comments as “hate” look at them as constructive criticism. It’s pure honesty, they looked a mess but no one should be surprised because this is how they look at practice, even the best of the best mess up at competitions sometimes but the only difference is we haven’t seen not one solid performance, full out, run through whatever from this team. something needs to change maybe they need to come down a level so they have a better chance at dominating in a division rather than keep trying to barely make a level 4 team work, nothing about this routine is consistent. not stunts, not tumbling, not even a simple basket. yes there is level 4 potential but if you’re actually trying to win and go to summit etc changing divisions might be best

Stunting is more about chemistry than anything you can have all the stunting fundamentals but still not hit your stunt that stunt group just happened to fit well together it is the first competition and I see teams that are really well known not have a great first competition but that’s what it’s for to go back and see what they need to change in order for them to work better
I think they should move keri out the middle for almost everything, she never goes full out not even on the competition mat. Hopefully she can see herself on camera and improve for future competitions & represent her legacy wholeheartedly.

@@lm8281 Tumbling is only 1/4 of the routine. I’m more so talking about her cleanliness and ability to go all out in her floor material. Do you see her in the dance ? I’m not talking down on her I’m simply just saying she’s needs to clean it up & add some spice to it since she’s always in the middle.

I’m screaming cuz they started off so good then it went downhill. And a lot of them were so winded because they never go full out like how they are supposed to. Hopefully they grow from this.
Jada always looks scared flying and coming done from her stunt. Still trying to figure out why they put London there doing her standing tuck when she doesn’t come through 100%( and Messiah). This was a mess and you can see the ones who truly want it and those who don’t. And there were times where choreo should’ve been there for those who were just standing around, especially before the tumbling because it felt empty.

As someone who coached before I’m not watching this girls to watch them fail I’m rooting for them. They are full of so much potential just know discipline comes first.

Anywho... and the little queen (the flyer) in Keri and them stunt group in the middle who usually hits and does very well, who just flat out didnt go for most of her stuff throughout the whole routine... come on now ma'am. This was not practice, you cant just not do it now. But, Congrats to the entire CUC organization.

Guarantee if there were other teams in their division they would have not placed first,this is not me trying to be mean or down them but this is me being realistic, this team has high potential but the stamina is so bad there is no way you should be giving up half way through your routine not hitting stunts not throwing your tumbling by the time they got to the dance it was sloppy because when they are at practice they don’t go REAL FULL OUT and like I said on the other video because they don’t actually go full out come comp day they are going to be so out of breath and tired. I really wanna see this team do great things but it’s up to them weather they want to be seen as underdogs or as a threat and right now they don’t look like a threat to anyone!

Congrats on winning but don't let the win get to yall performance in practive like you won’t improve if you don’t put in the work. The routine started out great but I can tell you guys got defeated when stunts started to fall. I know nerves get the best of you sometimes but I encourage you guys to find a ritual to calm them before going on the mat. And this remarks at the end were not needed like y’all are the youngest on the team.
Good job girls! Long way to go but it’s definitely gotten better. Keep working hard and putting in the effort at practice. The sisterhood at the end was very beautiful between the teams too.

wait a minute, this wasn't even that bad... this was pretty good... yeah some stunts didn't hit.. but overall I think it was good. just clean up the trouble areas and this is a solid routine !!!!! I will say that if you had gone against other teams, I dont think you would have gotten 1st place. but overall good job ladies !!! you can only get better from here if you put in the work!!!

I said I needed to see how they performed after seeing they won 1st place but just as I predicted. As much as I wanted to see them hit and truly fight for the win, It was luck. Now after this competition the first practice back Coach Tazhia better WORK THEM!! I don't know if they think winning teams just win by osmosis or whatever but something has to give at this point. This win was by luck not because they actually deserved it. That may sound harsh to say but it's the truth. The warm-up started out strong then all of those flaws and corrections from practice that they don't apply started showing. They have to practice harder and condition way more to hit a routine. The little ones on this team were so crushed because they truly care about doing well and if we are being honest they probably work the hardest.
EDIT: And as for the ppl trying to gaslight us in the comments saying “it’s their first performance” “it wasn’t that bad” STOP LYING😂 Some ppl clearly have no idea how hard all star cheer teams should be working. Look up other level 4 teams this season from any gym and you can see the drive to win and perform well. Their coaches coddle their feelings enough. No one is intentionally being rude but come on, it’s abundantly clear the girls need to work harder. And they walk around like they have the skills and consistency to be cocky. They didn’t work for this win and we know it just as much as they know it. Go join a high school team or CUCs stomp and shake team if you just wanna do cute cheerleading but all star ain’t for the weak. Y’all wanna say at least they did okay NO they are a ALL BLACK all star cheerleading team from the south, they don’t get to half ass. Because the white girls from Cali or wherever that they will eventually have to compete against are training like olympians to win. And these girls are just giving up for no reason. We are speaking from a place of disappointment because we want to see them win, not hate.

I was excited and couldn’t wait to see how the adrenaline would push their entire performance. Unfortunately, I didn’t see a consistent performance. Once more great routine just needs a team of athletes that can sell it (facials, technique, tight movements, stick tumbling passes, etc). Rooting for you ladies, keep pushing each other for greatness.

It wasn’t terrible let’s be real here if you expected them to hit then you crazy 😂 one thing I can say is that the stunt group they always fall hit so I’m proud of that
@@laney9380 that’s the point.. they’re supposed to hit the stunts. They were terrible.. people falling, running into each other , low energy . If they were to compete with another team they would’ve lost bad .
I'm not going to say they looked bad. There is no "bad" in cheerleading. Being that this is the girl's first competition this season, they definitely have plenty of time to grow and learn from their mistakes from this one. I can't wait to see more competitions from Majesty. There were numerous things that didn't hit like the stunt, the baskets, the tucks, and the flip during the pyramid. Apart from those flaws and the little mishap during the baskets, you guys were very impressionable. I will give you that. I just *hope* you girls learn and build from here. So when you get to the next competitions, and then the Summit in May, you guys can hit everything! Congrats you guys.
One day they're gonna look back on this video and laugh, because all the skills they've struggled with in this video (and previous practices) are gonna be skills they're gonna improve on and show us once they hit the summit stage next spring. I just hope they put in the effort in getting there.

Honestly they did better with the stunts than I thought but I think the whole routine needs reconstructed. They lose steam in the middle
