It is a coal mining town that was once being ran by the Anglo American company.
Now, many mines have been partitioned to Chinese companies.

@@theultimatesurvivorafrica2430 it was between 1972 and 1990 so Hwange was a great place then i then moved to Mutare for a couple of years then to Victoria Falls till 2012 then came to south africa

Wow, this vlog has rekindled such fond memories of visiting Lwendulu’s pubs with my eldest bruv who resided along Coronation Street, adjacent the hospital, close to Hwange CBD yonks ago..❤!
Remember those ‘shared bathrooms’ from yonks ago visiting my eldest bruv in Madumabisa-No 2! They were always revolting & reeked of wee stenches & unflushed poo…there were an absolute health hazards..🤮🤮🤮!??
