It is the Boxer that brought me to your channel last week. The song is my all time favourite of S&G's and I can listen to it all day long in some bad days. I don't play any musical instrument and never get the notes right whenever I sing, so I don't know how to appreciate music from a technical point of view. I just love any music when they touch my heart. I must say I really love the way you play the music in this channel and feel your passion when you play them. By the way, your Folk Song a few days ago is very good and sentimental. For all the Boxer you have played here, I love the one on the front page of your TH-cam channel most. This one here, to be honest, I love it more but I try not to love it because I feel quite a lot of sadness in it. It may be me, it may be the COVID-19, but not your music. Jens Streit thats true ... it’s the oft overlooked right hand that holds the secret sauce though The picking hand, fingerpicking in this case - the constant and driving Travis picking and managing to keep the rhythm steady and relentless while picking out the melody notes all in time ... the non-guitarists or non musicians always get mesmerized by the fretting hand and the picking hand goes unrecognized They say in India professional sytar players learn to master the picking hand for 3-5 years before they even begin to learn to use their fretting hand.. it’s probably an urban legend but I’ve heard that several times in my life ....
