Mike died because of the first don't move fail, he didn't die right away but his fate was sealed😆. and theres nothing wrong with making different choices than the original playthrough, you get to see multiple endings that way.
How could you just cut out the interrogation scene during the credits? That's literally the best part of the ending, lol.
