Thank you for this tutorial!!! It was so clear and concise and the images helped! I grew up playing this all the time...I wonder if I’ll remember my strategies. Galing...pinoy pala inventor!!!!
We used to play this during recreational time in the seminary. But I remembered after recreational time we head to our bunks to sleep and that usually means a visit from our friendly neighborhood ghosts every night😂. I remember a kid next to me quit one day and didn’t sleep. He told me a headless friar was watching me sleep for hours. He went home that morning and never came back. But anyways this game brings back good memories.
My cousin had a full set of this game and thought me the basics and he always said “A spy is the most powerful character other than the 5 star general and could kill all the officers” When I always wanted to play a game he’d ask me “What beats a spy” I struggled and always asks my dad he said a private next time he said I said it was private then the game was a complete bad luck I lost the game
my classmates have a board of this one.. as months passed by, this game became viral on our classroom.. and I still dunno how to play and know the roles of every piece
Harshith P.K You need to be wise and unreadable. I win 95% to everyone that I have played(even online). I don't think that I'm lucky, it's just that my placements and elimination process is good.
In playing GoG, you have to deduce the opponent's pieces and hide the identity of your pieces as well. You can't say that winning a GoG game is just purely out of luck. You have to plan your every move. It's almost like Chess. One wrong move and your pieces might get in danger. So in playing a GoG game, luck is not the only thing you need. You need strategies and skills too.
Spy:Haha this is to ez.
Private:Ima ruin this whole mans carrier.

We were told to create a character from different countries, Katipunero, Kastila and Amerikano. We also have to be creative with the illustration.
Yeah. This is a pretty underrated game.. This game was popular back in my HS days..
I like the way you explain the game.Hope you'll share and post your tactics and strategies too.
+Ives Razon
It's simple!
1. Mind games - keep your opponent guessing!
2. KEEP YOUR FLAG SAFE!
I play this one during my childhood
Ganun lng?! Dali pala nito eh, please gawa po kayo ng video ng about sa mga tactics o strategies.
She said,
"Oh it's that simple?! Can you make a video about strategies and tactics?"
Madali ang rules pero mahirap na kapag mismong laban... hahaha...
Really good choice for a bgm
Correction: if a flag challenges a flag, they both lose therefore ending the battle in a draw
No, if a flag challenges a flag, the flag that challenged the other flag wins.
Yeah. The attacker flag wins.
Thank you for the imformation it helps me a lot😀

Can we play even we don't have an arbiter?
+LeMron James No of course
Yes but both of you must declare the ranks when challenged. But I suggest that there is an arbiter
yes
Yes, but when the challenge begin you and your opponent must reveal the ranks, and the higher ranks stays on the board.
There's no arbiter in an electronic version.
Who will win?
A spy that can kill Generals and sacrifice himself to defeat the other spy.
Or
One Private Boi
For project
This heavily reminds me of Gungi from Hunter x Hunter
Audio? Music?
the music is from medal of honor game on playstation..
kimj tayde i figured it out, it was one of the battlefield 1942 sound tracks
White Phillippines vs Black Philippines
My favorite Filipino game, to bad this one is a virtual version and I play the chess type version(Real one)

copied from stratego and chinese version of generals.

dont you also need luck to win the game?
then its not a good tactical game

Must have Psy war here... accroding to the game rules talking is allowed so you can bluff by words along with the placements...
In every battle, sometimes tactics also need luck for you to win
