Can somebody explain to me how a detector(manticore) which people like calabash said it wasn't good on iron sides?(masking) is becoming a king on iron infested ground, was it the update(2.0) or is it just a hype?
The Manticore can be an easy detector or a complex detector. Easy to turn on and go. Complex to turn on and know the best settings for every location. If every location was exactly the same life would be so much better. Therein lies the problem. If someone is not willing to put the time in with the Manticore they will not get the most out of the detector, become frustrated, say it's not any good and sell it. Seen it happen to many times. Does that mean someone isn't knowledgeable? No, maybe just impatient.

I have both the D2 and manticore the minelab is far superior in areas where high EMI are
