- What it's like having Covenant allies in Halo 2 fighting the humans/UNSC on Outskirts. I also added a ton more Covenant allies than the usual amount.

(1st version I made before the official mod tools came out, which is why the buggers are still in there, would have been way too difficult back then to replace them as Marines)
To me this is a what if scenario if Thel Vadumee led the campaign against the humans.
I was expecting Spartans at the hunter scenes
More games should do stuff like this without having to mod it.

I feel like the marine on the roof should have a sniper
Lore time for this mod you’d think they came out of the pelican but no the elites saw it crash from a few buildings away and took down the marines who took refuge in the first building of the mission

Amazing! Unbelievable that fans can be so creative but 343 after a half a decade and half a billion dollars later can’t make a decent halo game with infinite
hahaha yeah man all I want is just a game where the story is centered around the covenant or whatever, just like with the arbiter in Halo 2 for a few missions, there's so much potential for some kind of dueling story line but they just won't take that risk unfortunately
@@nn98b64 they should have made a whole other game with the arbiter and elites raiding other planets before discovering earth. Too bad halo flopped and went downhill. Shocked how much the diehard fans never gave up on the OG games

@@milkmonstrosity the game dosent need to be out to know that it is dogshit. Just look at the gameplay they put out and 343 track record. Halo has been a garbage series ever since they took over

Also, side note, why are the Drones helping the humans? Is one party offering the other a good deal on drugs? :P
The drones are because if I switched them to humans they would be stuck behind that wall, I could fix it by messing with the spawning coordinates but that's way too complicated for me lmao, I just like to think they are some rogue unit working with the UNSC

Wait how do you change every covenant unit to a marines. I've tried to do the same thing with assembly but not every covenant unit is a marine instead some are still jackals grunt and some elites.
It's been awhile since I've used assembly but there's a section in the squads tab that lets you individually select each ai in the squad to set their biped and weapons.
i wish they had more health lol the marines blow so hard

One other thing I wanted to ask you is how did you give your elite character dialogue my elite doesn't say anything even when throwing grenades.

This looks awesome man. Any chance you can provide me with a copy of your map file to replace mine? I’m trying to compile the whole campaign to fit the Elites more. And a good one I’m trying to work on is gravemind. it’s a good and easier map to convert to a lore friendly Elite level.
I would but I have no idea how I would send it to someone lmao, its a .map file so opening it without assembly just takes you to some random editor app
NN98B hey man thanks for the reply. If you have this .Map file saved open your halo 2 map folder where it’s loaded and ready to play and then just drag and drop it into an email. Or you can use google drive.

You edit the squads in this mission with a mod tool called assembly.
