CN doesn't even need to do new shows. Just hold an entire year airing the re runs of Code Lyoko, Juniper Lee, The Good Powerpuff Girls, Xiaolin Showdown, Generator Rex, Teen Titans, Foster's Home, Totally Spies, Grim Adventures. And they'll be rolling in that money. They'll have so much money that it'll fix the American economy and end civil wars. That's how good my Cartoon Network was. Har Har Tharsdays were just stumning looking back.

Kim Possible and Phineas and Ferb were so successful Disney abandons the rest of the lineup (RIP Jake Long)
And think of what this show was competing with. Shit like Billy and Mandy, Ben 10, Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends, Ed Edd and Eddy. You name it.
And yes while we enjoyed this show we all know it wasnt bringing in HALF the views that their worst Hall of Famer did

It’s been like 15-20 years since I seen this but i found my self humming the “you can’t stop the girl” line and have no idea how I remember some of these parts so vividly
I was so hurt when this show was cancelled. . . .part of the best part of my childhood that show.

Apparently it was slated to go on for longer but was cancelled for some unknown reason. Probably corporate shenanigans. Oddly enough I'm pretty sure that's what killed Jake Long too.

@Jimmy Elkordy ordinarily this makes sense; cartoons are expensive so it has to go beyond the show (ie. Merch, video games, toys, etc)
This could be the reason but also the boston incident with aqua teen was a domino effect of CN not only canning their best shows but going a "different direction" because of new executives they signed on. Its how that CN-REAL block happened.
The CN building in burbank california was also demolished recently. Sad.

Of all the classic Cartoon Network shows, Juniper Lee probably has the catchiest intro (followed by Ben 10 and Teen Titans).
I miss this show so much. I also remembered something. Juniper sounds like Irma from W.I.T.C.H.

It's amazing how just through the theme songs you can already have an idea the huge difference between em. Juniper Lee is more wholesome and a strong sense of responsibility and upholding tradition; whilst American Dragon is about a huge ego and trying to have your way and take short cuts through everything.
Raging Seize That isn't what American Dragon's about and you know it. It's about learning from your mistakes and becoming better from them Jake long had tremendous character development. I like Juniper lee too but you don't have to talk shit about the Am-drag to compliment her.
The “You can’t stop the girl” part sounds exactly like “You can’t stop the beat” from the song of the same name from the musical Hairspray.

A great show was just in the wrong time period if it wasnt for American dragon jake long june would still be here
People are just jealous that Juniper doesn't need "cool dragon powers" to be a smarter and more skilled fighter. Not to mention she is less selfish and more responsible, respectful to her duties, heritage/culture/traditions, family. And she controls drama in her life, not make it worse. Even her supports make a better team and friends. This is definitely a more admirable show for me than "Am-Drag"and deserves a proper conclusion.
Brandon Miner I used to get both shows mixed up
Raging Seize to be fair, Jake’s a more realistic representation of a Manhattan kid and not to mention at the start of the series he had only been recently brought into his dragon training. His behavior makes sense. Not to mention Juniper ONLY fights these monsters. Jake not only fought creatures and hunters, he had to act as a mediator and diplomat to keep the peace. That’s why people liked the show.
And sadly we never got a completed American Dragon either which also irritates me

Well to be fair. The world of magic and monsters were more strictly seperated on Juniper's world. There isnt a magic barrier that prevents humans from seeing,hearing,and touching magical creatures in Jake's world unlike Juniper's. So humans have a much harder time hunting them or even learning of their existence.
Most magical creatures also arent originally from Junipers world. Most hail from different dimensions so I imagine contact is far more limited as they usually leave when they have bussiness in the human world. Juniper is also trapped within the confines of her city while Jake is free to roam the world due to the actions of one her predecessors going rogue which is a shame because she dreams of being an astronaunt. She also fights dieties on a regular basis in addition to other magical creatures on a regular basis.
I still remember things from this show. For instance when Juniper was transformed into a lemur. Her grandma trying to find a way out of the city. The bigfoot girl. The mummy guy who got eaten by this weasel thing. One of her friends learning to see magical beings and even more.
I thought my memory vanished but just listening to this nakes me remember things i havent thought of in ages.

If there’s one thing I miss about cartoons from the 2000s it’s the awesome catchy theme songs shows had. Now all you get is a title card and credits and copy and paste art design.
I remember watching this back when Cartoon network had good shows sure does bring me back memories from my childhood Juniper Lee was one of my favorites voiced by the same person who did Clifford's puppy days I love the theme song.

People always talk about the similarities between this show and Jake Long, but honestly this song reminds me more of Buffy the Vampire Slayer in premise.
Fun fact juniper and jake long creators didn’t know about each other shows and they was playing at the same time. A Chinese American and their sibling with mentor as grandparent with a talking a dog. Is that amazing! Also yes this show still rocks! July 19, 2019

I love this theme.
Ok, one of the episodes of this really hit home with me. I can't remember the name of it but her family was going on vacation and she was unable to leave. I remember her throwing herself against the magical barrier preventing her from leaving and my heart hurt.
I finally remembered this show I had the image of june in my head somewhat I just forgot everything else man I use to watch this during elementary school time flies fast as heck

I can see why man, independent,confident,kind,generous all that makes a good heroine, but people just labelled her as a buffy the vampire slayer knock off with para norman's setup and powers!(sort of) i don't seen mutch of the show just bits anp pieces like one episode where a demon clones June and her friends by taking their pictures and dumping them into brown sludge, and episode where june is ither seen as a kid or become one again, and her grandma fights monsters but i remembered the theme song!!!!

This show always reminded me of a cross between American Dragon and Kim Possible. Which isn't a bad thing if you liked those shows.
It has similarities with American dragon?! Oh man I thought I was watching my life as a teenage robot first but it turns out this show has similar animation with American dragon!
The "Water We Fighting For" episode is a good metaphor for what's going on today.

I never heard of this show before until now when TH-cam recommended this video to me. I think the characters here look like characters from "Maya and Miguel". I even thought the lady at 0:30 looked like Maya and Miguel's abuela.
The difference is in the ethnicity. Where Maya and Miguel possesses Latin-American culture, and Juniper Lee possesses Asian-American culture.
