I got a problem to connect a Brooks SLA 5800. The device is powered by the original brooks RS 485 adapter. However I cannot connect the device via the 2.5 mm jack to Rs 232 Adapter. The device cannot be found, even though the USB-RS232 Adapter is shown in the device manager.
Which RS232 to USB Adapter is used in the video? I am using a Digitus with a Prolific PL2303 GT chip inside.
