Thanks, April. I love historical fiction - the best way to learn about our past. Hazel Gaynor is one of my favourite authors so will definitely add When we were Young and Brave to my TBR.
I have The Message and am going to make a point to read it very soon and I’m adding some of the others to my TBR. Also, it’s always baffling to me that EVERY TIME you talk about anything at all political which should seem obvious to most people, you get some of the most unhinged comments. I’m glad that you don’t let it deter you from doing so. I hope 2025 is a great reading year for you!
I got so many great suggestions from this video, thank you! My favorite read of 2024 was Dungeon Crawler Carl but I am not sure that’s up your alley! It was a great distraction for me. 😊
Nestlings is one that I'm really looking forward to reading. It sounds great! Thanks for sharing these titles. I hope you have a great reading year ahead. 😊
Adding The Message and The Watchers to my TBR now! Nestlings was sensation overload for me lol, so maybe too good?? 😅 My author of the year was James Hanahan. Delicious Foods was my #3, and Didn’t Nobody Give a Shit What Happened to Carlotta was my #1.
You just made me download My Husband! To name a few of my favs of 2024 are Go As a River, The Life We Bury, and the Dalton Road series by Shannon Bowring. Also read everything by Alex Finley and loved!
@Georgesmomsu I lived in northern Maine for a couple of years back in the last 70's, so it's fun to read about places that are familiar. I loved all the characters and I heard there's going to be a third book in the series. Excited!!
My husband and I both live in California were huge. Tesla fans are amazing cars. We have two because we both commute a lot. We’ve bought them a while ago and we always knew Elon was off obviously he’s autistic but his greed for power is disgusting and I cannot believe he’s even that close to the presidentand but Trump is nuts too so whatever I voted against both of them I voted for Kamala and I really wish she was our president right now
What an exciting list! I have Trespasses waiting for me on my shelf. Now I really want to get to it.
Hope you enjoy it!

I have found so too! It's a nice way to be introduced to a history you don't know much about!

The Kind Worth Killing has one of the best twists! I might reread it this year so I can continue the series.
It’s so worth it!!
Adding several of these to my TBR!! I want to reread the Kind Worth Killing, it's so good!
Peter Swanson can do no wrong!

That ending is insane!!
I have trespasses on my tbr and I need to get to it.
It’s wonderful! Slow at the start but stick with it!!
This sounds similar to Anne Tyler’s books, I love them, Always about family.

Hi Sarah! I hope you love them as much as I did! Nestlings was A LOT - especially towards the end. Holy man! I will have to check out James Hanahan!
@ also wanted to say thank you for continuing to speak about important issues!
I just read between the world and me. I have the message on hold
I loved them both!
I read The Watchers this month. Was a great start for 2025! My favorite from 2024 was Project Hail Mary 🚀🧑🏼🚀
I loved that one!!

I hope you love it!!

I literally finished My Husband (oh that sounds bad 😂) a few hours ago. That ending 😲😲😲
That ending!!!!!

I really wish she was too. It's so disappointing.
@@Kindlelover88 I could never buy a Tesla, knowing Musk makes money from it. He is very pro Russia, a moral monster like trump.
