I don’t attend SLGateway, I have friends & family that do. I did attend the 4 pm service for two reasons, to hear Max Lucado teach and to witness & see how the several 1000 people of the congregation were feeling. I didn’t expect the elder who has done most of the media & platform speaking to talk for along while about the whole ordeal. James & his wife went before the congregation to say goodbye, but said nothing about returning. They hope to start a completely separate congregation. I believe the same elders are still there. By law, all that knew of Cindy’s ordeal or to leave. The entire service was taped, I believe, to be shown through out all the services & other Gateway campuses. You might want to listen yourself so your information is not 2nd & 3rd hand. It’s very tragic for countless people and the city of Southlake. Judgement begins at the house of the Lord. Looks like He’s cleaning house all over Texas. Max Lucado’s wife prayed for the congregation before he spoke.
