Thanks for the review! 6:08 We still recommend importing files from other software as MusicXML rather than MIDI. You can remove all dynamics after the import by right-clicking on one and choosing "Select > Similar" and then press Delete.
@musescore thanks so much for taking the time to check the video out and to comment, I really appreciate that 😀.. absolutely agree.. I do that all the time, but I wanted to show it with midi , as some users may be importing from a DAW..where they may not realise that XML export is even a thing!.. going forwards, I'll make that clear. Thanks for the effort you guys have put into Muse Score Studio and muse sounds..they are just amazingly good 😊😊
Dear Paul, thanks for this great video demonstration using the wonderful Massenet's Meditation composition with the free Muse Sounds; they do sound lovely indeed... This is a clear example that when you import into MS properly done MIDI files, the playback result is good. I like the way the solo violin sounds, much better than many solo violin sample libraries out there ;-) Thanks also for showing inside MS the little tweaks that you have done to achieve certain sonic results. I assume that all those tempo markings in the MS score can be hidden by simply selecting them and then using the 'hidden' function in the property menu. Keep up the great work and I am looking forward to what is coming next 😉 Kind regards, Max
@maxtofone Hello mate, and thanks for watching. I have to say the MuseSounds Solo Violin sounds really good in this example..better to me than the Berlin 1st strings, it just seems so expressive..and it's free! Yes, you absolutely you can hide everything (like tempo marks etc that you don't want shown in the score). The very first play through used the exact same score, just with the stuff I didn't want shown hidden. Thanks again for watching mate Kindest Paul
