Didn’t know there were fakes these too!! Couldn’t it be that they were models from different years? Companies often change manufacturers or move the manicuring from one country to another. I spoke to a keen customer service agent who told me they notice differences when they change where their shoes are made. And from year to year the materials change at least slightly even when it’s the same factory.
did you put them on the test I got a 18 oz yetti for Christmas and I bought a 36 oz on Ebay but I am not sure if it fake because is does not keep the water has cool has the other one I bought from a guy name wa7347
Was the label on the real yeti fastened or glued to the bottle or could you rotate the label? Or did you notice if the yeti logo on the bottom of the bottle is in line with the logo on the side of the bottle? The fakes apparently do not match up and the bottom will be crooked.
Sir Megallot If I remember correctly it was loose, just taped on the outside to give it tension. The tape on the fake one was not fastened parallel to the label.
@@SnowBeltDetails if you look at the raised yeti logo on the outside bottom of the real bottle, it will line up with the stamped logo on the bottom. The fake ones don't line up, typically. So that is another thing to check for

could you do an insulation test between the fake vs original? :D
