      In my experience, if a correctional officer or the like who isn't trained in psychology calls a prisoner a genius manipulator, or the prosecutor of their criminal case claims this, _consider the source._ The correctional officer doesn't know what they're talking about, the prosecutor wants us to think they know what they're talking about, and they don't either.
      If someone is known to be a genius mastermind, it's most likely that the "genius mastermind" in question simply _thinks of themselves_ as a "genius mastermind".
      At best such a person simply doesn't accept when they've been beaten. It isn't genius, it's narcissism.

There's so much good in the world brother. If you want to be a criminal, be a legal criminal and study the tax code. Make your fortune using money from the bank. I had a friend that went to prison. He told me about how they smuggle things in, how they cook, how they make alcohol, the social politics, etc. I found it fascinating and was impressed with the creativity involved in adapting things in prison. It's also very sad because there is a lot of violence, racism, and unfair policies, especially in men's prisons. It's a completely different world, which is why when people get out they have a hard time adapting. I wish we could support convicted individuals so that they can actually recover, get out of prison, and adapt to the outside world. Many imprisoned individuals need mental health support as well.

    • @TheDramacist
      @TheDramacist 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +28

      It's not about having a hard time adapting socially 50:18 . It's more to do with most convicts have unstable moods & personality disorders. Narcissicm & hedonism run high in that population. A major handicap is their lack of insight into their behave. Hence, they reoffend fast. They just can't understand or adjust their own behaviour, blaiming everyone but themselves. So they constantly make the same mistakes (aka fighting, stealing & "socking it to the man").

    Fascinating and well done round up of this insanity. Great vid.
    But on the actual subject... I hate that inmates are able to get ahold of contraband phones and get on social media. As a victim there is nothing worse than seeing the perpetrator who harmed you pop up online or directly reach out to you when they are supposed to be in jail or prison. This happened to me...The emotional rollercoaster and trauma of discovering that you aren't as safe as you thought you were will rock your world. What follows next is having to contact the prison/jail and victim's services, an investigation started, the inmate(s) get questioned, their cell is searched, contraband found and they get disciplinary action which can range from losing privileges to solitary confinement. All for what? Some internet clout? Some likes? Or just so they can harass their victims or plan something nefarious and potentially life threatening for a witness or survivor.
    Think about the victims. Don't support this crap if you see it in the wild. Report it. Don't make these guys infamous online.

    Badd Bob eh? An abused orphan, in jail since 14, ran away at 11 or 12, speaks like that? A convict that's escaped 7 times, one of which he committed murder, giving him a life sentence. A prisoner that should be reasonably easy to identify. That kind of notoriety doesn't go unnoticed, by media or officials.
    Turns up after covid starts, has obviously got people helping him on the outside, has multiple phones.
    As covid lifts, he dissapears, and randomly start speaking on his behalf, giving weak excuses. My favourite of which is the he got moved.
    My theory is as the page got traction, the "creators" got worried, and made it go away.

    I watched Badd bob during christmas around 2022 for a few weeks and was grateful for his videos because it really showed me the reality of how good we free people got it , even if were poor or going through bs it could always be worse . My best friend of 9 years just got sentenced to 11 years in prison last month hes only 22 and just had twin baby girls that he cant even see and now his whole life is gone , ruined thrown down the drain i have to see him every 2 months on a video call and i talk to him every friday night for 15 mins thats all i get now . Shit breaks my heart man , he was a good kid just hurt and needed somebody to love him and his own mother abandoned him and his father committed self delete in 2009 and he's been through alot and just chose the wrong choices in this life i just pray he gets a better chance in his next life . He'll be 33 when he gets out and his daughters will be 12 years old and will barely know who he is by then and with his record he will never get a job and just end up back in prison probably for life , prison does not reform it's torture and it the end of alot of peoples lives . now don't get me wrong there are some people who deserve life in prison but for the people in there on non violent crimes doing lengthy time will never have another chance at a normal life , there only option is to go back to prison

Also, I was in the jail where the last guy escaped from. I also met Jonathon, the Asian dude he escaped with. He was super chill and he has been freed recently. He was also falsely accused. I know in jail, you get a list of a bunch of items and you place an order, which gets delivered to your unit in a few days.

    What isn’t understood by most is that a ton of this contraband is brought in by the correction officers. It’s a whole cycle. Once an officer starts bringing in stuff, they start making big money and most don’t stop. Or they get blackmailed to continue because the inmates have so much on them now. They either get paid to bring stuff in or ignore things that happen.
