@@only1mere12alt5 It’s not only the IC’s, but the C2s as well. I’ve rode a Cummins C2 with the thump sound before and have also heard that sound on others too.
Pretty much every single IC bus wether it be a 2018 or a 2006 makes the noise, to this day no one even seems to care enough what it could be, but we obviously don’t fall in that range, it comes from the rear axle suspension alongside the ‘trademark’ hissing sound that International air rides were known for doing.

I’ve always wondered this… what exactly is that thump sound that the newer buses make? I like it, but I’m just curious.
I’ve noticed that all IC’s with a Cummins make that thump sound. I ride a 2022 CE with a B6.7 and it also makes a thump sound. Weird

They’re window pads for special needs students that may not be able to control their bodily movements so they don’t hurt themselves and/or the bus.
