- Christmas on Temple Square launches this year with a musical tribute: “Witnesses of Christ.” Watch the virtual broadcast now. In this 50-minute tribute to the birth of Jesus Christ, you’ll hear peace-filled messages and new arrangements of favorite hymns and carols performed by the Truman Brothers, the Utah State University Chamber Singers, Daniel Beck, and many others. The event is hosted by David Butler.
Feel peace and joy this Christmas as you hear witnesses of Christ’s divinity and feel His love. This concert will be available to view on demand during the Christmas season.

I was in the hospital for 7 weeks before my triplets were born in this very season. I spent Thanksgiving in the hospital. The doctors said I was taking it all so well they wondered if I would talk with another lady who was having difficulty with being there as long as she was okay with it. Doctor patient confidentiality prevented them from giving me details. I learned she declined to talk to me. The next day they wheeled me to a bed rest support group. There was one other lady that showed up that day and I knew it was her. We talked and I learned later that it had helped her tremendously. This brought me back to that time. It was a special feeling.
I'm not Mormon but it's not Christmas without the Temples music. Thank you for sharing. ❤

I've been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints since 1997 and each year I look forward to a Christmas Concert. I'm not disappointed this year. This concert is so uplifting and the music divine. It reminds us all, no matter what happens, the true meaning of Christmas is the birth of our Saviour and redeemer, Jesus Christ!! Amen my brothers and sisters.

I am struggling in the moment with doubt and fear. However, I truly hope I can come close to god and hear him in this video.
You are deeply known and loved by Him...letting go of doubt and fear and giving it to Christ by being honest with him and telling him your doubts and fears...he will lift you and sustain you even in the depths of your despair. If you seek him with honesty he will speak to your heart. Sometimes I cry in prayer, in anger I tell him my fears and my doubts. Slowly, he answers me. It takes time but if you are seeking, he will help you see what you are looking for. Sometimes you have to borrow some of His strength, when yours is not enough - that is why he died for us, so that He could give us His strength when our own is not enough. Please remember you are deeply, and truly loved!
You are loved more than you know by your Father in Heaven.

I went through the temple with my husband and my kids in 2015. I was starting to have doubts, but now I do not. This made perfect sense for me. I love my Father soooo much and cannot wait to be with him again and my family that I am sealed to 4ever!!!! ❤❤❤❤

Thanks for this concert. In light of what's happening in USA, and in fact, the whole world, it's refreshing to know that Jesus Christ was born, he lived, and died for us, and HE'S IN CONTROL NOW. As it says so many times in the scriptures, "Fear Not!" He will never leave us nor forsake us. "That soul who on Jesus hath leaned for repose, I will not, I cannot desert to his foes. That soul that all hell should endeavor shake, I'll never, no never, NO NEVER forsake."

Wow, hearing O come O come Emanuele in Hebrew was absolutely stunning! Goosebumps, the Spirit, and tears, flowing freely! So so so beautifully done! Absolutely amazing!

Usually more traditional music appeals to me, so the piece done in Hebrew (Aramaic?) was particularly touching, thinking back on the day and age of His birth here among us.
The children's descriptions of the Birth were sweet and innocent. The commentaries between performances kept the weaving toward the expected goal.
Towards the end, the children's choir brought tears to my eyes.
There were, overall, many fine performances and many deep and touching messages to bring us all closer to Christ.

This comment made me really happy today. The celebration of our Savior is for anyone who wants to celebrate him, regardless of any church affiliation.
We do something called the Easter Pageant at the Mesa, Arizona temple grounds every Easter. They haven't done it for a few years due to major renovations in the temple, but now that it's complete the Easter Pageant is returning next year!

I appreciate this video of Jesus. I have PTSD from being bullied repeatedly for over 8 years every day. The kids called me and my brother Frankenstein and the Bride of Frankenstien. The bullying was more than name calling. Other than the first boy saying," Frankenstein" the video was awesome, thank you.
