What I like about this ending is that it recreates Alisa's final moments from Tekken 6, but with Lars instead of her and he gets to grab her hand, unlike in 6. Maybe I'm one who's noticing this.
Nope, pretty sure that was done on purpose as a reference/parallel to that moment! I also think Lars’s ending with Lee as the wingman/supporter for Lars and Alisa is a callback to T7 when he reunited them, and he says ”Excellent!” there too, lol. This game didn’t miss with its fan service.
It took me a second watch but yeah, I finally noticed that subtext, too. No wonder Alisa's so distraught that she might have hurt Lars after what she did to him under Jin's control in Tekken 6. This is a solid ending like so many others in this game.
Can't help but smile and chuckle with this ending.

It’s a long time coming! I know Alisa recently discovered her feelings but I just hope Bandai Namco isn’t too scared to make them a proper couple in the future 😅 Still, best ship ❤

Wait, this reminds me of the scene from Tekken 6 where Lars defeated Alisa before able to confront Jin Kazama, then got angry when Jin calls her a "piece of junk" and she was "designed to protect Jin". This scene where they hold hands was a tribute to that scene where Alisa "dies". They actually held hands here, I felt a warm sensation in me, they finally resolved that part..
Yep I noticed it was a callback to Tekken 6 when Lars had to fight Alisa the 2nd time and had to watch Alisa die while she tried to reach his hand and he was doing the same. Then during Tekken 7 thanks to Lee he brought her back to life and reunited Lars and Alisa.

I know there are people who have reservations about this ship because of the fact Alisa is a robot. But honestly, as far as I concerned, Alisa is not just any robot, she's a robot with a free-will, a soul. She's not a mere machine, she's truly alive. And so, just like I ship Persona 3 MC with android Aigis, I also ship Lars with Alissa!
And hey, this is fiction, so it's fine, right? (^_^)
There are much more worse shipping than this out there. Lars x Alisa is much better than many toxic ships that I know.
My sentiments exactly. She’s a sentient being with human emotions (throughout Tekken media we’ve seen her laugh, shed tears and now experience romantic love) and there are far weirder couples out there. In fact, Alisa and Lars aren’t toxic at all so ship away! ☺️

This is one of the most hilarious and heartwarming endings I've seen in Tekken 8! Look like Lars and Alisa are really an item after all, as we lack the story development of this relationship in the previous games. Also Lars is totally a true Mishima because he planks on the floor beautifully.

Yeah, the endings are technically dream/what-if scenarios but they’re almost always in character unless it’s a dream within a dream lol. At least it exceeded my already low expectations since I thought there’d be no acknowledgment from either side 😅

Didn’t finish with everyone yet but currently it’s my favorite ending because it’s funny and not a long overused and boring rivalry (yoshimitsu and bryan/asuka and lili)
Fun fact:
Tekken 8 is the first mainline game that’s give us a original ending for alisa (tekken 6 psp took a cutscene from the Scenario Campaign and both street fighter x tekken and tag 2 are not canon)
Capcom should take note from Lars x Alisa and Jin x Xiaoyu’s relationship for either the next DLC for Street Fighter 6 since many fans have shipped Ryu x Chun-Li like I do.❤💙
