We update standings for what you see at the bottom of the screen. The overlay's sent to the commentators whoa re situated a fair bit away from the actual games.
Considering that this was in France were most of the locals SPEAK FRENCH I'm glad that they even speak any english, and at least I'm not maxing out the volume on my headset to even hear anything this time.
Not a big fan of the commentary here compared to other videos, they seem to discuss the players more than what's actually being played in-game and why.
Does anyone know where I can find that game where Enevoldsen survives the Emrakul assault they mention multiple times? I've been looking around for half an hour, but I can't place it. It sounds like a cool match, and I really want to see it.
To see the double emrakul sneak comeback, go to twitch.tv and looks up GP Strasbourg - Legacy. Day Two. The match starts around 1 hour and 34 minutes. Brunner finds double emrakul around 1 hr 48 m
It'd be nice if there was that card window in the right side of the screen they had in the 2012 worlds showing the card that was being played/talked about, for people like me who like to watch the games but aren't up to date with the cards or otherwise not familiar with them. So funny in the first game when the commentators were talking about other stuff and then just went "OH THE GAME ENDED!" ahaha
When you make a comment like this, judging an event or activity based on how many girls there are participating in or watching it, it only serves to reflect badly on you in a number of different ways. There is nothing wrong with enjoying activities that mostly men find fun. Hooking up with girls can and should be done somewhere else.
The last ponder of Jacob. Shouldn't he have taken the Brainstorm, played it (just to see the third card) but probably take the Forked Bolt there, then Forked Bolt the 2/2 double strike, and bolt it again in response to the Mother protecting it. I mean, Mother with Jitte is a tad less scary and would have bought him perhaps a turn more. And with fetching Jacob would have had another random draw, being pretty much the same as what he tried. The pondershuffle was a very ballsy gamble I think.
Game 2, I would have drawn forked bolt off the ponder, then forked bolted the mother of runes 1 to it and 1 to the player, then when he tapped mother of runes either to save itself, or save mirran crusader, then I would have bolted the mirran crusader. Still if dnt tapped to save mother of runes, he probably still would have won with active Jitte, based on what I think I saw Jacob Wilson was drawing the next 2 turns off of Ponder, but I still think it would have given Jacob a much better chance of winning.
Unless you actually have functional brain and reflexes, then you play something that a) punishes you for dying, so ganking is a valid tactic; and b) lets you deny creeps and allied heroes, so it's not just grounding creeps on your lane.
can anyone tell my why enevoldsen taps the canopy at 29:27 for a mana to cast aether vial? also could take the normal plains and wouldn't lose 1 life..
Enevoldsen has swords to plowshares. If he used the plain, Wilson could wasteland the horizon canopy and enevoldsen would not be able to use the swords to plowshares if Tarmogoyf would come into play. So i think it is just to have mana open, and he is willing to pay 1 life for that. Also he might hope to draw a land next turn, and then it would be best to plowshare risk before his own turn, so he can cast the jitte. Once again, it is just my thoughts

Thanks for the heads up from you, Tankalot and Zooomg!
Thanks! That was a very interesting game indeed :)
thank god this is on youtube! twitch was being horrible.
It's really annoying how they never zoom in on the cards. I really think they should have a close up of the board as well as the players hands
02:40 first game
15:45 second game
25:29 final game

They are always livestreamed.

Good job!
That's exactly what I thought! Killing the mom or the crusader would have bought a lot of time. His play was incorrect, for sure.

what do the judges do on the laptops, WoW dungeon instances?!?
Are the rest of the coverage videos going to be put up, or do we only get the finals?

I don't get it... why would you Brainstorm (with your last open mana) on your main phase?
they are updating life-totals and giving information to the commentators I believe
They have sleeved their cards to protect them and prevent marked cards being used.
what are the decks????

Thomas played very well, resulting in enjoyable matches.

leaving league video for a magic video.... and more league
I would also like to se the game Where Thomas survies the Emrakul!!! Cant find it...
Finally some real magic and not standard or modern
I miss SPLINTER TWIN in modern. Especially Tarmogoyf-Twin. Jacob's URG delver/tarmogoyf deck is beautiful
It was pretty painful to watch so much draw go, then 3 hard cast force, but very well played by the dane to survive the double sneak

They are sending info to the contaminators. Like the cards in the players hands. They can't commentate right next to the players that are playing.

Is her name Rosie Palm?
Put your subtitel on (English) and pres here 7:32
it's a control deck. the win condition is stoneforge mystic
Played against wilson and shenhar only 2 weeks ago haha
Really shouldn't have people with stronger accents narrating. Makes it hard to understand whats happening on occasion... No hate, just saying.
Game 1: 2:38
oh boy
I don't think having an accent is the same as having broken English.
misclick on mobile I think
search for a land
Oh there are no girls? Look at the corner of the play area
