My gift sets are my number one seller. I introduced mine Mother’s Day weekend 3 years ago. I sell them all year round. I also for a 5 for 30 on my soaps that sell great. I mention it once I see someone with at least 2 bars in their hands. 90% of the time they get the 5.
I had my first market in may and I sold over $1200. I was so excited I almost cried lol one thing that helped me was saying mini items. I had 8oz sprays but also 2oz sprays that sold for $5. I feel like most people feel obligated to purchase something once walking into booths so having a $5 item helped with sales!
I'm compiling notes for a video about my first pop-up event and this video helped me with organising everything in order. The bundle idea is a great advice as well, you've mentioned a lot of things I wish I did! Thanks for sharing Erica
Great Video....I have a bundle for my soaps . I tell people that it is a show special and if they are with others, I say they can combine to get the show price.
Hi, Erica. I gave your video a thumbs-up, because your information is so useful, and because you are so down to earth - no arrogance! I wonder if you can tell me a little more about the gift box set. Is it basically your candle in a wrapped box ready to give someone? Do you put a ribbon on it? Or do you place your candle in a gift bag with tissue? Thank you for your time.
Thank you for this video! I do a farmers market every weekend and do a buy 3 get 1 free deal. I'm wondering if I should switch to a bundle deal. The customer still gets a deal but I don't lose the cost of an entire candle. You gave me some things to think about. Thanks!
I will be doing my 5th pop up this weekend. Thanks for the tips. Erica have you thought about adding a pop up location within Shopify so you don’t have to keep track of what you sell? I also do this and use the Shopify credit card machine and it links to your store.
Hi Erica! I love candles and love watching your videos. Do you offer Afterpay or Klarna for payment? I want to try the candles and glad to know you’re from CA too.
I love all these ideas! One question that I keep coming back to, how do I reconcile this with my books. How do I figure out profit and keep my books straight? I hope that makes sense.
The two art shows in my hometown cost $900 and $1200 for the day (without tent rental). I’m wondering what type of shows you can sell at with booths that cost less?
The psychology of selling is so interesting! I’ve done some experiments with marketing the same product 2 different ways: option 1= buy 4 get one free. Option 2 = £2.50 each or 5 for £10. …… both were for the same products, same prices but just worded differently. Which one do you think was more successful? 🤨

Love your videos. I have learned so much from you. I'm currently working with freedom wax. Could you do a review of this wax? Thanks 😊
Thanks for the information Erica...

Hmmm I will definitely look into this! Does this allow you to sell each item at a different price than what you offer on your website?
@@MemoryBoxCandleCo that’s a great question and I’m not sure. But if does allow you to offer a discount and or a custom sale within the POS.
Where do you get your honeycomb packing paper? And your bags for your samples? Love your videos! Your so helpful and inspiring!
Sample bags are from Uline and honeycomb packing paper is from amazon! 💕amzn.to/3ute8a7
Good information thanks!

Did you sell the candle melt machines at the event as well?

I think 5 for 10, as sum is easier to do lol
I can´t guess and I would like to know... :-)
@@gianniemicka the 5 for £10 won every time - as the other commenter said, it was easier to work out for people 😊
@@aprilmoulds2606 exactly!
@@shopwildvenus Wow, your answer was so fast :-) Thank you! I am preparing my new strategy for our craft fairs, so any tips appreciated!
