This is a difficult song to perform..and from my opinion Avril totally nailed it. Vocals are amazing, but her voice adds something more to the original version, its more powerful, and especially initial verses feel less far away, more near, more sweet and warm.. then the refrain open up so powerful but clear that strikes hard. Chills.

I've always been fascinated by Avril's tone. It's youthful, strong, and clear with a subtle southern bell twang on key words. That said, I like her take on this song.
