    Contentwise it's a good video, storytelling-wise not so. That 900 $ thumbnail fools one if you say it was 1.2k$, at the end you did the math, but why not just overlay the numbers. Same with the analytics with the bad battery. Anyway that was a nice one.

    • @BrokePremiere
      @BrokePremiere  2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Creating the content, has a lot to do with symmetry. If things don’t look smooth and feel smooth. You don’t enjoy them. Let alone click on them, to enjoy them. The 900 grabs the eye more so then the $1,200. When I figured out it was a battery, oh and I realized later it needed oil for compression! Lol and some gas. By the time I figure those things out in the video, I’m wearing different clothes each time, the sky is grey in one, sunset in another. Heck even parts of the video I switched around the timeline to make it more cohesive and fluid. These throwbacks are just meant for entertainment and to zone out and enjoy. I do them on days that my actual content is probably pretty boring to you guys. Like 5 days of Sheetrock and sparkle. So as you say the content wise it’s a good a video. That’s all I’m aiming for in these. I probably should’ve just cut the part out about not knowing why it doesn’t run. That probably on me. But then it could’ve also created the question, “why is it being towed”. It’s a give and a take. But! If you want to see all the details, which are pretty good, but my editing was a little rougher back then. You can check out the whole 5 episode series of them in playlist “flipping cts” learn how the girl kind of screwed me over and why I got stuck with the $1,200, then turns out how she kind of got screwed. Probably shister mechanics she had. But the overlay idea, I’ll probably do next time if I remember.

    • @whistlingdiesel
      @whistlingdiesel 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@BrokePremiere ...and there is where the storytelling begins: Do the little changes with the overlays, reupload it and name the video "Cadillac Girl tried to screw me over! - Big profit with a broken CTS" ... I'm convinced that then the video have better chances to pop. And of course you need a Thumbnail with a girl 😁😁 You can keep this video and see how they develop side by side. Thanks for the long reply with the background infos!

    • @BaptistJoshua
      @BaptistJoshua ปีที่แล้ว

      @@okiehoss1835 I agree. You start with cost of purchase, and compare that to selling price. Then you give the details in the video. It means start to finish. Start at $900, put in blood, sweat, and tears, and end with $5750.

    • @BrokePremiere
      @BrokePremiere  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Nah I explain this in one of the episodes. It’s not about mine or your preference. It’s about creating a clean platform for the next buyer to do what they want. For them to dream. If you leave tint you could eliminate 20-40% of possible buyers. Elderly or even 60 and up who have worse eyesight. Or someone who doesn’t like the “cool” or “mean” look. When your remove it you give the person who does want it, the “dream” of how it could look. Plus rims “man that’d look sharp”. Or maybe they prefer light tint in the front, or mirrored tint. Clean platform, sells to most.

      Basically you just have to grind on all the classified ad sections. Sometimes when I didn’t have a flip, I’d just sit at my computer for 12-16 hours a day. Refreshing Facebook, Craigslist, offerup, every 3 minutes. Seriously every 3 minutes… Sometimes that would be 3-4 days of that. Then when one pops up, you have to have the cash ready and be on your way within 15 minutes of it posting. Then when you get there try to haggle lower.
      But this particular one, I had looked at a month or so prior. But it had “transmission issues” so not many people we’re interested in it. When I went to look, it wouldn’t even start and she wanted to much for not starting. So I let it go and got another flip instead. Then I randomly saw it again after that flip and I offered her less and she finally agreed. At that point the ad was over a month old so I think everyone thought it had sold. So that’s how I got a good deal on this one. I just got lucky on this one, the reason it didn’t start, was no oil! It had, no compression. I put in oil, bam 💥 it purred. The transmission “issues” low transmission fluid and it was due for its first transmission fluid change 20,000 miles prior. I changed the fluid and filter, romped on it for a bit and all the shifting cleared up! Definitely a lot of luck on this one.

      Hey Rogelio, I've answered this a few time in detail. If you go to the video "I FINALLY get to WASH and BUFF this sweet whip! | Flipping 2nd Mazda-3 5" And look at my comments with Stanley you can get most of the details.

      @@BrokePremiere Do you have a video where you explain all the process on how to start flipping cars with zero knowledge?

      Ahh man, nah that would be a longgggg video. It's funny the more you learn something the more you forget what you didn't know. So it's kind of hard. I will be doing a course in the future I think I might start recording it soon. There's a lot.

      @@BrokePremiere I like your content considering the fact you are still new. You should show or talk about what you did in future videos to explain how you make cars come back alive like other flippers. Either way, I subscribed!

      Thank you! But I actually already do. Watch the playlist the “flipping cts” it’s 5 separate episodes of this car in detail. This video is simply a transformation video. It’s meant to zone out and enjoy. Along with help bring viewers like yourself to the channel. But definitely check out the playlist. See how this girl tried to pull a fast one on me and how it ended up working out for me.

      Thank you Kunal, but that’s his thing. I don’t much care for that style. As far as making it. Kudos to him for sure. I’ve enjoyed his videos plenty. Just not my style.
