    those lip slurs are so clean, im a college level bass trombonist and having those kind of lip slurs is one of my goals

    As bloody amateur I'm definitely out of range and speed. But the challenges and principles of working on those are very interesting and helpful to me. I think I can scale it to my skills and needs. By the way: I'm surprised to see your use of the second valve playing scales. I think I will work on that.

    Thank you very much for these videos! I am curious how you are achieving your wonderful vibrato when playing the cimera, are you doing jaw vibrato? Your face seems to be perfectly still while you do it which would makes me wonder if it’s something else. Thanks again for this series!

      It is a jaw/lip vibrato, but as you said, very little noticeable change. But it is there, even if it’s very small!
