I think the best part is the fact that a wolf is one of the only animals to actually seek revenge for someone killing another wolf or pack member they knew, so it ties in very well with komamura turning into a wolf and seeking revenge.
As soon as Bambietta heard the explanation, she was terrified. Terrified for her life. There is nothing scarier than a person who will fight you knowing he has nothing to lose and will do anything to have your head. Bambietta doesn’t have that as to why she fled.

The title card drop was just next level for this one. Hanging "HEART OF WOLF" right over the castle of the person that Komamura wants revenge on. It's perfect, it's just completely perfect
So, from what I put together about the beast clan... they were once regular Shinigami that were steeped in cruelty and vengeance, to the point where the entire clan was cursed. To reflect their bestial nature they were given the half-man/half-beast forms 'werewolves' and then sent into the recesses of the Soul Society. The 'humanization' technique is designed for them to remove their hearts, literally and metaphorically, to temporarily regain their humanity... but that humanity is still an empty husk, because they traded away the 'heart' (and, remember, the 'heart' was a big discussion between Orihime and Ulquiorra, representing what it means to be human). When that husk inevitably shatters, they are only left with the beast form, the form showing that they have no more humanity left. So, to note, Bambi would have straight up killed pretty much any other character than Komamura. Her 'Explode' negs durability because it turns anything it touches into a bomb, including your own Reiatsu or even skin. With how fast she can machine gun those bombs, she'd have even negged a character like Kenapchi, because the entire point of her power is that she completely ignores the typical Bleach forms of defense. If Komamura wasn't straight up immortal, he'd have been done in as fast as Shinji was and if he didn't kill her, she'd have run roughshod over the entire Seireitei. She wouldn't even run out of energy, since she is in a Reishii-rich environment and can easily repelenish herself.
I think there are a few characters who could survive and defeat Bambi, but Komomura's immortality and speed in that form absolutely works on her. He's immune to damage and his bankai hit her so fast that it forced her attack to touch her and explode. Aizen might have an even more unfair advantage, he has Kyoka Suigetsu and immortality/evolution on his side. Could use Kyoka Suigetsu to prevent her attacks from landing, substitute himself with her allies (much like what he did with Momo in FKT), and the Hogyoku could evolve him if he does get hit (in case he's not already immune at his current level). Considering that Yhwach himself thinks killing Aizen is a waste of time, having him fight Bambi is overkill compared to her versus Komomura. Shinji might have been able to use his bankai against Bambi if her friends were around, but that didn't happen. Provided he can dodge her attacks, Hachi could do his kido thing from before and have Bambi's blast go off within her own body. Soi Fon might be able to kill her with her shikai technique and speed. It's just very very risky for anyone who isn't Komomura or Aizen, as one hit might be able to incapacitate one or all of them. But it's just speculation based on previous fights and Shinji's original intention to use bankai on Bambi and her friends.
Faxx, she is one of my fav girls along with yoruichi but hate what happens to her next and in the novel, it's so annoying and hard to think but that's karma for her sadistic nature.

The price he had to pay for revenge included being powerless in the end to kill Yhwach and not being able to die properly. The callbacks are so good in Bleach and there'll be another instance later in the cours of a character not heeding their own words.
The whole Sajin Tousen relationship is just so good and tragic. Sajin and Hisagi fighting Tousen was one of my favorite in the term of emotional weight. And the episode here makes the whole sacrifice much much sadder/tragic than i remembered from the manga. And the Episode numbers + title card just solidify Sajin's whole journey up until this point.

Konamura is criminally underrated. He’s debatably the best written captain. His dynamics and parallels with tosen, his loyalty to Yamamoto, his backstory and his struggles and finally this perfect conclusion. Top tier character👌
Fun fact about this beast realm. All of the bleach realms and races are based on the Sansara or Samsara. The Samsara is "the concept of reincarnation, a cyclic existence where our spirit or individual soul is trapped in an endless wheel of life, death and rebirth", which makes perfect sense for the series. The samsara consists of 6 realms/states of being, those being the Deva or Gods realm, the Asura or demi-gods realm, the human realm, the animal realm, the Hell or Naraka realm and the Hungry ghosts or restless spirits realm. As you can see, each race of bleach is equivalent to one of the six realms of Samsara. The Deva being the shinigami and soul society, the Asura being the quincies and the wanderreich, the Human being the human, Hell being hell, the Hungry Ghosts being the hollows and Hueco Mundo and the Animal being Konamura's race. Also another cool thing is with Ichigo and what the multiple eyes from the last episode represent when it comes to Japanese culture. That is the concept of the Mitama, which consists of the belief that we have four souls, them being: the Power of Ruling, the Power of Transforming, the Power of Unifying or Harmonizing and the Power of Blessing. Ichigo represents is representing this concept perfectly, because he is part human which is Ruling, part shinigami which is the Unifying or Harmonizing, part hollow which is the Transforming and part quincy which is the Blessing. This is actually really cool and shows how the series is actually really deep if you stop to analyze it, especially when you realize that everything on the series is based on it and it makes perfect sense. The zampaktou are literally powers that come from self reflection and understanding of one's self, and Ichigo's whole journey is about self reflection and self acceptance and understanding yourself.
Which is why BLEACH can technically have its own UNIVERSE, which they sort already are doing. We got BURN THE WITCH, and not to mention HELL ARC as well as there being talk of expanding the BLEACH universe even further.

Sick reaction, I loved how into Komamura's story you were, him and Tosen's arcs are one of my favorite sleepers in bleach. Personally I interpreted that part where grandpa werewolf did all of this "just for me" is relating back to his line he said earlier about his clan's true form being Revenge - I think he's equating "him" in this part to revenge consuming Komamura. As the embodiment of revenge here (Kubo sure loves his poetry/symbolism in the manga btw lmao, those poems at the end of chapters are not a new thing), he's sipping on that resentment and revenge in the form of his blood before it transforms him and then eats his very heart.
He is the grand elder of Beast clan. He abandoned his clan from hiding cuz of looks but he finally accepted his clan. Its the sin of past he has to bear. So he offered his heart to elder for revenge eventually becoming a beast of himself. Karma came back for him. Whole Bleach has lots of buddhist philosophy references🙌

The animal realm thingy is a Buddhist thing I believe. And I believe his Bankai is based off of one of the Hells in Buddhism. Something about reincarnation. Bleach is heavily inspired by Buddhism as ya can see.
