I disagree with your theory about the adeptus mechanicus and not because I don't think they wont potentially betray. Their treatment of the Marines or rather the intended component of the Dreadnaught is not different from their treatment of their own people, it is equal to it. Standard practice for the mechanicum, they show little value for organic life. A good example of this is that their soldiers who use radiation rifles are irradiated and rotted away by the weapons they use and yet they still give them to the skitarii.
Agreed.... it’s just the mindset of the mechanicus when building these machines. Everyone knows first gen hardware has bugs.

Was fun to build. I built mine with the plasma. It's good to have that heavy hitter when your enemy pulls out their vehicles I've found.
Just don't glue the arm in and you can swap back on forth for heavy weapon

Maybe, but they explained why it opens but didn't directly address it, it opens to replace the sarcophagi when then marine inside gets burned out and dies from piloting it. At 4:10

They get "burned out" when ya overcharge ya macro plasma incinerator and roll them 1's xD
It's not an intentional way of getting back at the Terrans. It's just evidence to show how far removed from humanity the ad mech has become in seeing organic components as easily replaceable as any gears, pistons or servos.
I plan on adding some Primaris snow flakes to my Vylka Fenrika and probably will add Coffin with guns :)
odd that the people of mars would build somthing that cannot support life like the previous designs still in service. i think mar may have some answering to do in the coming times. buttt still these things are intense!

It's the first Dreanought where the space marin entomb inside could be legitemly unhappy of his state !
Weapons wise i think its all about what u plan on doing... If u want it to be a tank destroyer than by all mean plasma incinerator is a must... the combo onslaught cannons will basically reck any standard troops... The more hits/wounds the more chances to fail saves especially at a -1. Ive found that these types of weapons even do better against big beast models like magnus, it will especially help going up against the new mortarion... Plus as a blood angrls player it feels more fluffy to have assault cannons.

I would say that the only way to go is the dakk varian with maximum shots of him. Get him accompanied by captain/chapermaster and lut. or just go with G-man and those 18 HB-quality shots will tear new assholes left and right
Thanks for the videos guys, really appreciate it, helped make dawn of war so much more fun to play when i can immerse. Before i just liked the style of units, now i know stuff it's waaaay more deep and immersive, i knew nothing of the blood ravens but thought they were cool and when i watched the lore videos covering sanguinius and the blood ravens creation stuff / relevant lore i found i like what they stand for and their back story, making playing it way better. would love to try table top one day maybe but i'm poor so i stick to dawn of war 1 and 2 / expansions. Obviously gatling canon beacause nothing is more fucking badass then pumping the enemy with thousands of armor piercing rounds of holy steel , and the roar of the gun...something the plasma weapons dont have... i like plasma too but nowhere near as much as the Imperiums badass balistic weapons , because a real badass carries a big gun...not a pewpew lazer
also assuming the entire mechanicus is gonna betray the imperium is rather naive and dumb , like seriously? The machanicus are PART of the imperium , its like saying ' hey lets remove ALL THE spartans from UNSC because....THEY MIGHT BETRAY US!!!' , without the mechanicus the imperium is basicly nothing, no production , no new tech no fucking thing , so no i dont think ALL of the mechanicus are gonna betray em...maybe a sub faction but not all

It is kinda funy, how such humungous rotary cannon does have such miniature magazine. On top speed, the gun have to go thru the magazine in matter of seconds, and afterwards it goes dry. I would not be suprised, it the RPM of the gatlings is circling around 6000 rounds per minute, wich is a butload of ammo, (and a big pile to fit in such small magazine).
I love the idea of mechanicus turning traitor. :D

Great vid ^_^ Dread free for all? The Leviathan is a total beast of a dread. They are all good but the odds go in favor of the Leviathan. It's grav flux cannon can easily one shot another dread and it can take two of these. It's durability is awesome as well. It has a 4 up invuln save with T8 and 14 wounds so it can take it as well as give it.

Mex In theory yes, but it won't happen due to him having to stay on the Golden Throne.
Nope, the golden throne isn't just a life maintening system, but also a controller to prevent the broken human webway portal on terra to completely fall and create an eye of terror on terra :/ sadly if an other insane psyker like the emperor doesn't came to replace the emperor on the golden throne he would never be able to leave that place.
SUGGESTION: How epic/heroic/great gotta be the deeds of a Space Marine to found his own Chapter? Also, how is the whole process and how long it takes?

I've been running him with the plasma incinerator and the heavy flamer. He is ok, not the greatest. But since I'm running pure Primaris he is my dreadnaught options.
I don't think it's a conspiracy by Mars I just think that life is a total non-factor for them.

It's not so they can see at all. It's just a way of saying the space marine can see you. They see through the machine spirit and other things.
i think its a look in, rather than a look out - the entombed marine would have his eyes impacted by screens from the vestige above the sarcophagus, therefore would have no outside view, not sure about earlier dreadnought designs, but the ability to twist the head for movement would not be practical given the state of the occupant - spine removed ect, so perhaps this is a motorized function

I do believe the Primaris Marines will turn on the Imperium,,,I mean look at it in game terms. Chaos was the big bad for a long time. Something has to come since it has become easy to defeat Chaos compared to what it once was. Yes,,lets improve SPace Marines,,then turn them against regular space marines. Makes things interesting in game terms.

you mean the worst looking dreadnaught in 40k, or the "Chappie" dreadnaught as some of my friends call it. Also how the heck does primaris marines have dreadnaughts already? THey haven't even fought that long for "Heroes" to arise yet that have the qualifciation to become a dreadnaught. THis shit doesn't make sense! Also if Cult Mechancus betrays terra again I'm done, The imperal titans are the only reason I still care about 40k in the first place because the story of 40k is just a big paradox and doesn't even make sense.

I kinda avoid plasma weaponry like the plague. The damn things blow up at the worst time possible. Sure it CAN do its job, but i just cant get myself to ever equip something that could backfire like this.

SUGGESTION: pls fix ur audio setup finaly, the variing levels of volume and resonance is realy painfull... first u are barely understandable over the background music, and then u are so loud that the speakers vibrate so badly the whole experience is a utter pain to listen to.. i love the way u set up the pics and the info u guys give us, but pls for the love of the emperor, get some help from Gersh, his sound seems to be almost always on spot. still love ur vids too, just saying)
