Thank you for the kind words. Facebook is just sensory overload for me. I get a lot more done without it. I am active on the Rossmann’s Discord under Mac-repair, so feel free to visit there.
Justin, it seems we have a similar view on community. If we can help you in any way, please reach out. My contact info is on the front page of wiki. I think an “Art of Repair” page would be great, and you can list your tools available and the trusted vendors that stock them.
Thanks for the video Dusten and Chris, I have never really watched it before. I go to the LogiWiki at least once a day.Nice tip for checking the four voltages at those caps in regard to CD3215 voltages too thanks Chris.
I have a very similar issue. Replaced one cd3215 which went from 1.6 to 2.6 V. Destroyed again? Did you ever find the issue on that board? I have 3 ports taking 5v and around 160 m AMps and one that is 5v and like 0.009 A - that one actually has 3.3V so it seems to work ok.
insanely underrated video, definetely the best one on cd3215 troubleshooting
Awesome! Thanks guys a bunch!
Miss Chris on the group but so thankful for the hard work he has produced.
