- Well, what a treat this was, a stay in a Princess Suite on board the brand new luxury British Cunard Queen Anne Cruise Ship. I was in cabin (or rather suite) #4141 which is brilliantly located mid-ship on deck 4 and sleeps three people. This video offers a tour and inside look at the whole cabin, from the bedroom area and the sheets/pillows/mattress/bedside tables/lighting etc. to the lounge, tv's, seating, minibar, drinks-making facilities, balcony, cupboards/storage, mirrors and balcony. This is a beautifully appointed stunning, stylish cabin with a great selection of artifacts. The design and decor is sumptuous and elegant and the bathrobe is the softest/fluffiest ever. I like the whole bathroom and its marble effect and gorgeous Penhaligon toiletries, although it is a shame that none of the Princess Suites on Queen Anne have an actual bathtub - just a walk-in shower. The cabin also has a really good range of plug sockets which caters to a lot of nationalities - British, European and North American...very impressive - as well as USB sockets too. I also look at the balcony and storage space/cupboards/mirrors. Every Princess suite cabin is gifted a bottle of sparkling wine/prosecco on arrival, hence why I'm holding a bottle of bubbly in the picture.
Off in a QA PG in 11 days now... How is the dining?
Funnily enough I will be posting a video on Friday comparing Princess Grill to Queen’s Grill - I thought PG was as good as QG, especially if you pre order off the à la carte menu, which you have to do by lunchtime latest for the evening. I only had dinner in the PG as I prefer to self serve a quick breakfast and I was a fan of the new Wellness Cafe for lunch… I also enjoyed the Golden Lion for lunch! Both of these are included. I’ll be posting a video on these other included eateries later in the weekend. So food is clearly on my brain as well as yours!!!
Your cabin looks amazing!!! Another great video Jo! Stay safe and in touch my friend!!! XXX
Thank you so MUCH Joe - I thought the cabin was particularly stunning too! XxX
That is a beautiful cabin! Looking forward to more videos as you sail on😄
Thank you so much Bjorn. I actually think I preferred THIS cabin (which was a grade down) to the Queens Suite I had the first time I boarded the ship. The red and gold decor really made it for me!!
@@gowithjo1 yes, the color scheme was really nice in there😊
@@gowithjo1 Also PGs are midships whereas the lowest grade QGs are all fore or aft - more interesting there, but worse if there's movement. Probably would've preferred a QG but ...money...
@@andrewhalket4129 yes, midship is very nice, I agree - and everywhere felt easy to get to from here somehow. I thought the decor and colour scheme of my PG suite was actually nicer than the QG one I had for one night, but the space in the QG was obviously nicer - and the bath...and the balcony!!! And the free drinks in the fridge...but yes, there's a cost implication. But I was v happy in my Pg...
