- Thousands of people were able to gather together to watch celebrations from the Auckland's Sky Tower on Friday morning.
Crowds were allowed to gather in the city to mark the start of 2021 as the nation continued to record a low number of new coronavirus cases.

WESTERN Australia did even better than New Zealand kept Covid at bay and achieved an economic growth rate. They are isolated to do what the antipodes did in the U.K. is far, far, far more difficult.

The fireworks display in Auckland really sucks! 😂 It's nowhere near how Australia and other first world countries do it. Happy New Year New Zealand! Being able to celebrate and gather in crowds because your government prioritised people over money. Unlike us in the UK, where we are suffering at the hands of Tories and the selfish people that voted them in, a government that did more damage to the economy by trying to prioritise it over people’s lives than what they would have done if they had of dealt with it properly from the start!
