Concrete is prepared by mixing of cement sand aggregate and water with some admixture in a required proportion to achieve desirable strength, it makes workable paste of concrete with fine consistency required to poured for good placing and compaction.
There are several grade of concrete such as M15, M20 and M25 categorised according to their compressive strength. In M15 concrete M stand for mix and numerical figure stand for their compressive strength, so M15 concrete signifies mixture of cement, sand and aggregate which are prepared in such a manner that a cement concrete cube of size 15cm x 15cm x 15cm is formed with characteristic of compressive strength (fck) of 15 MPa or 15 N/mm2 while examining it after being cured for 28 days.
M20 concrete signifies mixture of cement, sand and aggregate which are prepared in such a manner that a cement concrete cube of size 15cm x 15cm x 15cm is formed with characteristic of compressive strength (fck) of 20 MPa or 20 N/mm2 while examining it after being cured for 28 days.
M25 concrete signifies mixture of cement, sand and aggregate which are prepared in such a manner that a cement concrete cube of size 15cm x 15cm x 15cm is formed with characteristic of compressive strength (fck) of 25 MPa or 25 N/mm2 while examining it after being cured for 28 days.
How much water do I need for 1m3 concrete?, its depending on many factors, water cement ratio which range between 0.4 to 0.6 in several exposure condition, generally water comes with amount of cement you are using in the concrete mix, so every kg of cement need about minimum 0.40 litres of water and maximum 0.60 litres. Its also depend on type of concrete grade, weather condition and strength of concrete do you want.
Water cement ratio is defined as the ratio between the weight of water to the weight of cement, it is represented by w/c ratio. In general terms it is stated that how much water it requires for particular mix. As water cement ratio greatly affect the strength of concrete and it can also affect the workability and consistency of concrete.
How much water do i need for 1m3 of concrete
1m3 of concrete generally weighs around 2400kg which is blended mixture of Portland cement, sand, aggregate, water with some additive.
Most important 3 ingredient of concrete cement, sand and gravel have almost same density, generally they are mixed in the ratio of 1:1.5:3 (1 part cement to 1.5 parts sand & 3 parts aggregate by volume) to gain 20 MPa strength of concrete and water should be added in the range of 55% of weight of cement in mild exposure condition for M20 concrete.
Calculate how much water do you need for 1m3 of concrete in following steps:-
    ● dry volume of concrete = 1× 1.54 = 1.54m3
    ● calculate part of cement in mix, total proprtion such as 1 +1.5+3 = 5.5, then quantity of cement = 1/5.5 of dry volume
    ● calculate required cement quantity = 1/5.5 × 1.54 × 1440 kg/m3 = 403kg
    ● calculate required quantity of water, as 0.55 is w/c ratio for m20 concrete, so quantity of water = 403 × 0.55 = 220 litres.
    ● calculate sand quantity = 1.5/5.5 × 1.54 × 35.3147 = 15 cft sand
    ● calculate gravel quantity = 3/5.5 × 1.54 × 35.3147 = 30 cft aggregate
Thus, you will need 220 litres of water with mix of 403kg (8 bags of 50kg cement), 15 cubic feet of sand and 30 cubic feet of aggregate to produce one cubic meter (1m3) of M20 concrete with suitable mix in the ratio of 1:1.5:3 (1 part cement to 1.5 parts sand & 3 parts aggregate by volume) to gain 20 MPa strength of concrete.
Regarding this, "how much water do I need for 1m3 concrete?", for producing one cubic meter of m20 concrete will require 220 litres of water on mild exposure condition, while M15 concrete will require 190 litres and M25 concrete will require 280 litres of water on exposure to moderate climatic condition. This quantity of water little may change due to different exposure condition.
Regarding this, "how much water required for M15 concrete?", you will need 190 litres of water with mix of 317kg (6.34 bags of 50kg cement), 15.5 cubic feet of sand and 31 cubic feet of aggregate to produce one cubic meter (1m3) of M15 concrete with suitable mix in the ratio of 1:2:4 (1 part cement to 2 parts sand & 4 parts aggregate by volume) to gain 15 MPa strength of concrete.
Regarding this, "how much water required for M25 concrete?", you will need 280 litres of water with mix of 555kg (11 bags of 50kg cement), 13.6 cubic feet of sand and 27 cubic feet of aggregate to produce one cubic meter (1m3) of M25 concrete with suitable mix in the ratio of 1:1:2 (1 part cement to 1 parts sand & 2 parts aggregate by volume) to gain 25 MPa strength of concrete.

Wt. Of water= wt. Of cement * water cement ratio
So wt. Of water bhi kg me aana chahiye aap direct liter me bol rhe h????
