I want a meditation for astral for people with Aphantasia. I never have dreams and when I do I just know the things are there. I just figured it out and I'm 42 years old. Trust me we know what we are missing out on. No fantasizing. No reliving sexual encounters. It sucks and I feel really robbed. It really is a problem. I only see black. Ur right tho just keep at it. People have gotten their mind eye vision back. Thanks for this.
I can’t actually see things when I “imagine,” but I feel like I can. It’s a feelings, but not the 5 sense type feeling. People have told me they SEE things, like they genuinely see things as if their eyes are open when they close their eyes. That doesn’t happen to me, but I FEEL as though it is. Like, I can “see” different things without actually seeing it if that makes any sense. I also dream really vividly. So uh, do I have it, or?…
i have this but have the most vivid lucid dreams, i kind of think about it as all my visualization power goes into my dreams and that helps me with not being able to daydream and such 😂 because the worst part is i know what people and things look like but can not for the life of me visualize them i literally see blackness so dreams are my only way to like escape that part, but i appreciate you making this video because it’s so hard for me to explain to people that i have the condition but can lucid dream so vividly
What helps alot is meditation before bed Or meditation to sleep. I do this all the time when I want to have some crazy visual dreams. I had dreams that felt like years, but woke up an notice it was a dream. I've never been attached to my dreams. But simply meditating before sleeps works wonders.
@@RealManifestationExperience hmmm I don't have many scary dreams so I can't remember them that much. But I did have have dream that could be the future or alternate reality if you want to hear that one.
There's still a lot of aphants that have vivid visual dreams. I'm a part of a FB group and plenty of people dream. I have aphantasia and if I don't smoke weed, I have very vivid visual dreams. I've also had a couple of lucid dreams, as well. There's still a lot of research that needs to be done.
I've realised s few years ago that I have aphantasia. It annoyes me that I can't see anything but black when I close my eyes. But now I'm wondering- what do you think? Is it possible that all aphantasia is is something that has yet to be developed or be discovered by the person? Maybe like attempting to control the muscles that makes your ears move? Or maybe trying to write with your non-dominant hand like an ambidextrous? If you can explain to someone what your room looks like despite seeing only black when you close your eyes, means that your visual memory is stored somewhere. So how do we know that aphantasia isn't simply an inability to visualize the stored visual memory because we haven't figured how to do it?
@@RealManifestationExperience you’re welcome! I’m not sure what it is, I think it’s because it’s describing it for us we can get a feel of what it would look like? It’s strange but I’m finding out more about it
I think I have aphantasia but it’s hard to tell for sure. But I just thought of a way to maybe tell because I can “imagine” images but they aren’t actual pictures like it seems other people can imagine. They’re more like ideas of pictures. But maybe that’s what people mean by “visualizing?” Anyways I thought of maybe a way to compare: When I was a little kid, sometimes at bedtime I would lie with my face down on my pillow so that there would be pressure on my eyes. When I did that, after a short while my “vision” would start filling with different abstract colors usually starting with yellow, then red and all different colors. This is the only way I would “see” actual color with my eyes closed and of course it would never be actual images. If I didn’t have aphantasia, would I expect to be able to conjure up actual colors like this without pressing against my eyes?
As a child I remember me visualising a whole lot of adventures before going to bed, but now I can't even see the moon in front of me anymore. No idea where this shift began
I have aphantasia, I know I dream but have no visuals to go with it, I rarely ever recall my dreams. There is a sadness to having it as a mother, I can describe in detail the days my children were born, but no images in my mind of their tiny faces on the days we first met. That Visual should never be stolen from a mother. For the most part one doesn't think about it, until you try to recall precious moments with the ones you love most. Peace Love and Blessings

I'm trying to shift to my desired reality I do remember my dreams but I haven't been able to visionlize my desired reality and when I do try visionlizing all I see is black and I want to visionlize so do you have any tips for some that can help me because I think I have this condition
DR means desired reality. Compared to 'CR' which means current reality. The goal of reality shifting is to focus your emotions, intent and energy on what you WANT, your desired reality, and shift away from your current reality. But I would suggest you think of it more like you're running TOWARDS your desired reality, and NOT running away from your current reality. Positive emotions always beats negative emotion, so focus on what you WANT rather than what you don't want
I also have this condition and I’ve also been reading up on reality shifting, and the research that I’ve found says that if you have trouble visualising then instead of trying to force yourself to visually see your DR when shifting you should focus on other senses like how/what you’d feel in that universe, what you hear, what you smell etc. Maybe think of the feel of the weather or the general environment whether it be warm/scary/thrilling or whatever feel you’re going for. Anything to help make that connection between what senses you know and your desired reality to help yourself feel more connected and comfortable. And if all of that fails, just try and think positively about shifting and where you’re about to go and let the good thoughts outweigh the bad. Anyways I hope you get some good ideas from this! (Also, although I like to think that I know what I’m talking about don’t treat what I’ve said as definite fact, researching things yourself can be way more trustworthy then taking advice from just one person. There are some pretty good Shifting communities on Amino if you want more techniques/advice. And it’s best to believe someones advice when others agree with it because some harmful stuff can still be spread around.)
This is such an interesting topic. I find it hard to imagine living without perceiving any inner imagery. I know some people have aphantasia -this really means "no fantasy", I would miss this a lot. But I never thought about how people with aphantasia dream, that`s very interesting. I love the topic of dreams anyway. And I am starting to share my personal view and experiences in a dream vlog, also thanks to being inspired by what you share on this channel. The whole recording uploading thing on a public level is very new for me. But in this way at least I have a memory of my dreams and experiences that feels like more than some scribbles in an old journal. Thank you for everything you do!
I have Aphantasia and cannot experience any inner senses plus have no voluntary auto biographical memory. I can dream vivid visuals and then I can dream' knowing' without any use of usual senses ( this is difficult to explain). when I was a teenager I could lucid dream but struggle now. I am visual artist and paint without visualising. One great thing is the stillness in the mind.
I have really lucid dreaming but it's hard for me to visualize within my head because I find it so peaceful just to breathe when I meditate I just feel like my piece is more worth it I can think about it but then I don't care about the thought anymore it just goes on its own
I have been close to lucid dreaming where I realize I am dreaming but my own brain limits me until it can push me back in the backseat and just have vivid dreams
Keep trying, I know it’s annoying or tough at the start but it gets so much easier. I LOVE the experiences I have in my lucid dreams.. and I know you will too.
I remember the day I lost my visual mind, or at least when I realized it was gone. I was in grade 4, bored in class and tried to visually see a scene from my favourite show in my head. I couldn't visualize it anymore like I always had when I was bored. I just immediately know the thoughts without the need to visually "see" in my head. I can't think of faces only each individual part of a persons face one by one. No visual at all in my mind. Red ball.... I don't technically need to "see" it in my mind because I somehow already know what it should look like. My dreams are still vivid images in my mind. I can lucid dream. I see and hear and feel everything in my dreams
