🔖 Recipe:
Chicken Mushroom Strudel
1 roasted chicken (remove meat into bite-size pieces)
2 tablespoons butter
2 cups fresh mushrooms, thickly sliced
1 ½ teaspoons kosher salt
⅔ cup diced yellow onion
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon ground cumin
¼ teaspoon paprika
1 pinch cayenne pepper (optional)
1 cup heavy cream
1 lemon, zested and juiced
½ cup grated Gruyere cheese
2 (14 ounce) packages frozen puff pastry, thawed
1 large egg for egg wash
Instructions:
Melt butter over medium-high heat. sauté mushrooms until browned.
Add onions and 1/2 teaspoon of salt and cook until onions are softened
Season with remaining salt, pepper, cumin, and paprika
Pour in heavy cream and cook, stirring, until thickened, gold and bubbling, 5 to 7 minutes.
Reduce heat to medium-low and mix in fresh tarragon. Add chicken and stir until sauce is absorbed into the chicken and mushroom mixture.
Place mixture into a bowl and add lemon zest and lemon juice. Fold in cheese and mix until well combined. Cover and refrigerate until filling is chilled (at least 30 minutes)
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (220 degrees C)
(I used frozen puff pastry - store bought, but you can use homemade pie pastry too!)
To prepare the puff pastry, lay it out onto a lightly floured parchment paper and roll it into a rectangle measuring 12 x 15 inches.
Transfer the dough onto a work surface with parchment paper and score it into 3 strips lengthwise. Cut away the top 2 corners to create a triangle shape, then attach one of the corner pieces to the bottom middle section using water to aid in sealing. Make 3/4 inch cuts along the sides of the centre section, then transfer the dough onto a baking sheet.
Fill the middle section with half of the chicken mushroom filling, fold the top and bottom over the filling, and then fold the dough strips alternately to cover the filling. Brush with beaten egg, bake at 375°F for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and crisp. Allow to sit for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Обувные коробки -- мой органайзер для лекарств уже лет 20, я взяла это у матери. От неё же у меня куча зажимов для переплётов разного размера -- я ими и провода к столам цепляю, и квитанции за квартиру на видном месте вешаю, и крючки на мебели организую там, где мне надо, а не где можно по умолчанию. Органайзеры для мелочей и отдельных групп лекарств у меня -- коробки от чая в пакетиках. У меня в них мелкие игрушки без упаковки, провода, компьютерные мелочи, канцелярия, так что они вообще везде, в каждом столе, в каждом шкафу и ещё полка запасных коробок лежит. Сами провода я банковскими резинками уже лет десять завязываю, терпеть не могу болтающиеся провода (к тому же их грызут кошки). А толстые и не слишком длинные мотки LAN-кабелей я храню в банках от Принглс. Бумажный пакет из доставки у меня -- пакет с пакетами для повторного использования. В коробках от таблеток для посудомоечной машины я собираю остальную макулатуру, так удобнее сдавать в переработку, а в коробках от ежедневных прокладок удобно собирать втулки от туалетной бумаги (те, которые не пошли на поделки для дома), опять же для удобства сдачи в переработку.
Моя кузина себе из одинаковых коробок когда-то целый настольный стеллаж для мелочей склеила, оклеила теми же обоями, что были у неё в комнате и вклеила в угол на комоде так, что он смотрелся как дизайнерский. Я мечтаю так же сделать, но мне пока негде.

For the folding of the organic waste boxes, i fold in the corners in after folding them down so the sides hold better in place :)

The projects are great, but as long as manufacturers wrap everything in plastic, sometimes in triplicate, there will never be zero waste.

Hi there, here's the full recipe:

If you use gallon size bags, save the box for disposible straws.
I do use gallon-size trash bags! That's a wonderful idea. It makes perfect sense-especially with the opening of the box designed like a dispenser in the grocery shop. Thank you for sharing your fantastic idea!
You made me think of something. Empty boxes from large sandwich bags can be used for plastic forks on the table. Not pretty, but can be covered in pretty paper if you want. Could be good for get togethers.

Übersetzen : ich hab auch ein , Bettlaken mit Gummizug einfach ins Wäschenetz hinein tun und ab in den Schrank ! Sieht nicht so rumgewuehlt aus! Wie vielleicht auch nilon,und so!

Зачем ставить по 2 флакончика в коробочку?они что сами стоять не могут?Кисти надо было ставить в ту же прозрачную банку-тогда проще найти нужную по толщине,а не вытаскивать все и коробки.Провода просто перематываешь резинкой и всё-так большинство люде в нормальной жизни и поступают,зачем зажимы?
Прозрачный контейнер в данном случае это треш-визуально захламляет пространство всё что в нём лежит. Постель нужно складывать в плоские стопки одинакового размера, тогда её и гладить не нужно она под своим весом будет гладкая, и уместить так можно гораздо больше. Короче автору ещё учиться и учиться
