For me; the best gaming metric for a monitor or projector would be input lag. I notice a few of the units you went over had touched on that. If anything under 30ms would be fine with anything under 15ms being preferred. 1080p or 60hz is fine as long as the input lag is low. Most console games will be 60hz or less. I want to play my nes on a big screen! It's modded with the hi def nes kit.
This X1300i can have as low as 4.2 ms @ 240Hz or around 8 @ 120 But Optoma UHD35 also has 4.2@240Hz but it also supports 4K @ 16 ms or so. No Idea why he didn't mention that model
But the heading of the video states best gaming projectors of 2023 and the x3000i is one of the best. If it's about budget then put budget projectors in the name of the video. 😊
