@@CrazyAmazingDesigns 15 yr cam op that finally decided to be a video director and lyrics/display. Installed ProPresenter on my personal dual monitor setup so I could play around without messing up the church's computer 🙂

Thanks for the info. Is it possible to have get macros from the presentation computer to the setup computer? I have used sync (up from presentation computer/down to setup computer) bur macros seem to be very inconstantly applied.
Yes! If you copy the ProPresenter folder from Documents on your computer, to the other computer. All the Macros will be available. -Nathan R
There is something you didn't mention regarding one seat license usage on two different operating system. I've heard that you can't use that same license on mac and windows, that the first operating system on which you used the license has to be the same to switch the license to. Did it change or not?
This is not the case with ProPresenter 7. I’ve heard other software does this, but you can use a single license of Pro7 on both Mac and PC. 😀 -Nathan
I have a question.
We have our library on the Mac at the church.
We are mostly all volunteers.
I am the leader and work all week without getting a chance to edit the lyrics prior to service. (Probably normal…? lol)
I want to edit the library remotely, is this an option?
Is there a way to access the library from home?
You can use Remote Desktop software such as TeamViewer to remotely control the church computer. Pro7 is not cloud based so no reliable ways to upload the assets and edit them remotely, except if you copied all the changes to a HDD each week and went home. In this video I recommend a level of that, have the setup computer that is sort of the master and then the slave computer that just gets over ridden and presented from. -Nathan
This video was helpful but, in our situation, I am trying to figure out how to make this all work for volunteers that may not be as comfortable with the tech. I also want the presentations to be ready to go when volunteers enter the A/V booth. The way it works in the church office means that the person making the presentation will put in the arrangements and media, including the backgrounds for the songs. We are in the process of setting up and training right now. There are mobility issues when it comes to getting to the A/V computer which necessitates using another computer to create each week's service presentation. Here is what I would love to know......is there a way to save the presentation so that the links to the media they selected for the songs and the arrangements are part of the file?
I understand from the renewed vision help page that perhaps the best or only way to do this is to create a sync across both computers. Rather than using the network, we would likely just use an external hard drive and sync the computers each week. We may move over to using the network eventually if we do this, it is just difficult to get the time of the person who would need to set this up and so it might take a while. I prefer the idea of having the library on both computers after watching your video but, that may not work. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Oh.....and the pastor may make his slides on his computer in ProPresenter and we would then open it on either of the computers to add it to the presentation (playlist) for that Sunday. I think that would be the export option to include his media .
Hi,
When you right click on a playlist and select Export, there is a check mark feature called "Include media with presentations" This check mark should cause the backgrounds, videos, etc, to save with the playlist export. Then you can double click on the playlist from the new computer and it will open. -Nathan
