Let’s get other companies to be as cool as JHS and send us gear to check out as opposed to us reaching out to other companies and trying to pull teeth to get them on the channel for our subscribers and they ignore or decline. JHS is rad and wants bass players and guitarists to have access to reviews and gear with in depth demos from multiple content creators. Maybe more pedal companies should follow suit 🤷🏻♂️
@Therealchuckbailey the amount and frequency of the jhs pedals wouldn't be noticable if the output had remained as consistent as it used to be. This was the premier spot for bass demos years and years ago but it seems like it has been hollowed out. Lots of familiar faces have left and seemingly weren't replaced. I assume it's because running the channel is expensive and there's no money in it.

Hey there. Chris here. The last three videos being JHS is a coincidence and you’re correct, it wouldn’t be noticeable if output remained steady, which it hasn’t. The truth is I’ve been really burnt out lately and trying my best to rediscover my creative spark and inspiration. I’ve been doing this almost 9 years with no real break. Not complaining, just being honest. The only real familiar face that is no longer involved would be Will. He’s moved on to other things in his life, which is good for him. I know a lot of viewers as well as myself miss his playing at times but it is what it is. Everyone else is still involved in some form or another despite everyone having their own schedules. As you may or may not know, all the playing examples are pre-recorded and reamped. Since adjusting some lighting and other things in the studio, I haven’t had a chance to get all those familiar faces to come in and record yet. You’re also correct that running a channel is expensive. It’s also very time-consuming and doesn’t always pay very well. Somewhere inside there it can also be fun. Hopefully this gives you a bit of insight.
Pretty versatile palette of tone capabilities! from bitey distortion to almost spot on fuzz like what we dialed in for the Muse tune! I was super impressed!
