My Thought is that the people calling it trash is just not capable enough to work with some limitations. 10 years ago this would have been crazy good. Great video!
Winded up trading an old Fuji for this camera on Facebook Marketplace, so for me it’s a dream camera for 0 dollars haha. Can’t wait to make some short films, thank you so much for the tips your music videos look fantastic.
C3 is the default mode when you hit the record button while in the photo modes So if you set up the C3 mode with your preferred settings for video you’ll have the ability to instantly jump from photos to a perfect video setting and your instantly recording
I believe my C3 was set to 120fps or something like that. But i never really used it. But having it set to my main video settings would have been 10x better and would make more sense.
Thanks for sharing your settings. The sample clips were great too. Cool to see what you’ve made with the Canon EOS R. Best of luck with your filmmaking endeavors 👍
Exactly. It’s a great camera fasho. Rocked with it for 4 years and never complained, just made it worked for what i needed to get done. It was just time for an upgrade for me which is why i switched back to Sony and i have zero regrets with that decision 💯
24 fps feels the most cinematic, and looks the most natural to the human eye. It's the standard for any feature film. If im shooting in bright conditions then i’ll use a vnd so i can keep my iso at 400 while shooting in cLog.
@@kikoxify i believe that’s photo mode. I could be wrong. I dont have the camera right in front of me to say exactly but it’s you’re either in photo or some other program mode. Make sure you’re in the video mode
@@BplexOnline yeah, especially for TH-cam videos. I’ve noticed they look much better when I export to 4k even if i shoot in 1080p. There’s no right or wrong way, it’s just something Ive noticed for my videos.
amzn.to/3uuxEGz on amazon brand new. But all cameras still perform the same whether it's new or used. If it's used, just check the quality rating. Even though mine was used a lot, i would still rate it a 9 out of 10 for quality appearance. Image quality was still 10 out of 10. I'd highly recommend getting one that's used to save some extra money. I hope this helps you out.
lol. That would for sure be a big difference. There arent too many people who actually need 12-bit for what they do. But the one's who need it, most definitely wanna keep using that higher quality. I think there's a time and place for everything.
Man if you dont have a legitimate reason to get something else, then just stick with the R. There’s definitely other cameras to upgrade to, but the R is good frfr!💯💯

Highly recommend setting the multi function slider to white balance too, I keep seeing how “everyone” hates the slider but in my use case I love it
that's one thing i honestly disliked about this camera lol. I never could find the a function for it that I liked.

Anytime💯. Thanks for checking out the video. This is definitely a great camera and i was kind of sad to let it go, but it was for the best.

question, why 24 fps instead of 30fps and also are you using a VND at 400 iso and 24fps?

That point about having your Base iso at 400 when shooting in LOG is clutch ashl all my video come out grainy n i be pressed
