Mother's day is a tough one. My Dad raised me. I always called him on Mother's day. He was killed in 2017. I miss him so much. My life will never be the same. I spoke to him just before he died. I was able to tell him all the things that you say in the song to your mom... I also have a great Mom! Shout out to great parents...❤❤

My birthday is tomorrow, its tough, my mom died in her sleep may 8th, 12 years ago (she had just turned 43) ...2 days later on mothers day/my birthday i was making arrangements. 2 years ago I lost my dad to suicide he was 53....please show your parents love, you never know when they may go, they don't have to be old and grey...love all of you.

The 16th of November my mom had a stroke. She survived and she’s still with us but her speech has suffered. This song hits completely different now…the thought that I could have lost her. This line really hit me hard. I graduated on Friday and my family came to celebrate my achievement, a few hours later on Saturday which is yesterday 2.20am my MUM passed away.
I'm really broken, confused. But I really hope she died while proud of me.

This is the 3rd song from a son to his Mom video that brought tears to my eyes. The first one was Elvis Presley's "Mama liked the Roses" and the second was by 2Pac "Dear Mama". You see I have a son, he is almost 33 years old and it breaks my heart taht he wants nothing to do with me. I know his life with me wasn't perfect but I had no family support and made stupid mistakes that I gotta carry to my grave. I love him and miss him and his children, my grandbabies that I am not allowed to see. It pains me so much and that's why songs like this make me cry. I am so pleased you respect and love your Mama. Damn, I wish it was like this fore me. My Mom choose my stepfather over me and my brother. I cried myself to sleep every night wondering if I’m even good enough. I didn’t understand what he had over her two boys, but my Dad has stand by my side all the time. My Mom dranked herself to sleep everyday, and that hurt me so much. That I couldn’t provide happiness to my own Mom😔. I don’t live with my Mom any more, nor do I wish to speak to her at anytime as of now.
