    Olight is back and back again! They have updates one of their most popular lights of all time and given it more than just a new coat of paint. Let's dive in together and see if these upgrades keep it worthy of the premium name or if they have backstepped from perfection! LET'S GO!

      I'm trying. Seems like an uphill battle some days though.

    Just got mine. Great light but moonlight output is half what my baton 3 puts out. Guess that’s how they get the extended runtime.

      It really does have that super low moonlight. IMO, it's a little too low and not very usable, but to each their own on that front.

    This time i didnt make the mistake to buy a pretty one (this green one is very nice!), but a plain black, so i can beat it with no mercy. Ive got a very nice red Baton3 Premium and a White Seeker4Pro, i treat them as jewels. Not because the price, but the beauty.

      Hahaha. I am all too familiar with this situation with Olights. I have a few older and a few rare Olights that stay in a box (my kids love to play with my lights).

      @@torchesandtacticali love that i can chose a custom luminosity in the case, remove the light and use it. It will reset after turned off. the 0.5 lumen its very weak, probably under 0.2 lumens. but still useable when eyes adapt.

    I got one as a gift and really enjoy it! But man after using high CRI lights, these Olights have a horrible color tint 😮‍💨
    If Olight would use better LEDs in their stuff they’d be my absolute favorite. But that’s subjective and the general market doesn’t care about that. Still great general use light

      I understand completely. I love the ingenuity that they have been putting in their lights, but the vast majority of their users seem to not care about the tint of the lights, so they spend their time and resources elsewhere.

      I agree. I have a plethora of cheap convoy lights with beautiful cri nichia leds. But i understand why olight uses the leds they use. They go for efficiency and battery life which in some lights id argue is more important than cri. But having the option for users to choose led of choice would be nice. Im not a woods man. Id love a 3000k high cri sft40 on a warrior mini 3 vs some cool white low cri version of the sft40 lol

    Do you know what the lifetime charging cycle of the case is?

    Is there a battery that powers the case ??

    • @torchesandtactical
      @torchesandtactical  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There sure is. Another cell inside that'll charge up your light or anything else you plug into it.
      This exact one is currently listed for sale on the Olight But, Sell, Trade Facebook group.
      70 shipped CONUS, if you or anyone you know is interested. 🙂

    Is the battery in the case user replaceable ?

    • @torchesandtactical
      @torchesandtactical  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Anything is user replaceable with enough effort, but, it does not design that way. With current lithium ion technology, you shouldn't need to worry about replacing it for quite some time.

    Just received mine. Its the most amazing small torch i have or have EVER seen. My only problem with it is that it makes my Warrior Nano seem allmost too heavy for small light, it beats it on every aspect except maybe in running time. And even on that Nano is only slightly better. Nano is 40 grams lighter than warrior mini 3, baton 4 is +30 grams lighter than Nano. Warrior mini 3 has atleast double and in some modes triple the battery life of Nano. Nano has only slightly better battery life than Baton 4. It is 100 lumens less on turbo, its high mode is 200 lumens less also. Yeah, you can use 600 lumen half turbo but then you cant use 1200 lumen turbo because you cant change it without mcc cable and electric plug. This makes Nano allmost useless. Yeah it has tactical switch at the tail but still... this is smaller, more powerfull, allmost same battery life, better and sleeker and mofe high end design. I still use my Nano but now it has retired to back up light position after one month of use...

      I definitely agree That it seems like there are a lot of lights that are coming in around the same size and same output. With the seeker mini 4, at least that has the option of UV. With the others, it seems like the biggest differentiating factor is just the rear tail switch.
