I always look forward to stitching and sewing everything Lori Holt also looking forward to bounty with FQS. Sew nice seeing your sister with you. Happy stitching and quilting !
Hi Amira, just caught your video. Its been years since I have done any cross stitching, you have inspired me to go through my supplies and see what projects are still unfinshed and tackle them again.
That sounds like a lot of fun! I am so glad that the video inspired you to get back in stitching again. There’s so many great flosstube to watch while we stitch these days, it is like having a friend over to stitch with us. Hope you’ll find new love again with your cross stitching journey 😊
Hi Amira! Delightful to see you and your sister and very exciting and fun to have a cross stitch parade of your current works and a few finished designs as well! I haven’t done an6 cross stitch since last year as I’ve recently fallen down the quilting rabbit hole, but I would love to do any of Lori Holts designs.
I found you threw a quilting email. I will have to go back to your first floss tube and catch up. Wonderful video. I am going to finish Silver Creek Samplers - "For Unto Us". I so want it done by next Christmas, so I am going to continue to work on it until it is complete. Happy Stitching.
Hi Carol... Yes, I quilt a lot more than stitching, but I love watching floss tube even when I quilt, and it is inevitable to be back loving cross stitch again. There's so much inspiration
Selam Aleykum to the so sweet two Amira. A very good health to you for 2023🎉🙏🤗. Very pleased to see you have a so dynamic sister, and it is so nice to see your joy and energy! That is a great motivation for me. Actually I am doing the 'you are the boss of your quilt' by Lorie holt, but... in my way and in my colours... kind of making my own print on this cross stitch pattern😊. I live in Turkey and it is very difficult to find fabric dedicated to patchwork and to make them come from Europe or US mean too much shipping expenses and border's taxes. So I do with what I find in local fabric shops. This is a real problem! Waiting impatiently for your next video👍🙆♀️. Lots of love and care🥰💖
Waalaikumusalam Valerie. Thank you for all of your wonderful wishes! I have the Lori holt in my list too. I need to get that one kitted and start. We too have difficulty getting items and have to wait for quite some time before I get that in my hand. But that is also a blessing -otherwise I'd be spending way more! Haha...
Your sister made such a cute pillow. Sister love-especially when you like working on projects together. Amira that is an adorable project; The one with the lady, “But First Coffee”. The Tisket, a Tasket - love that pattern. My plans/my priories for this year are to work on two kits that I have; one is from Fatquarter’s and the other is a Lori Holt one. But I truly want to make my daughter two Christmas tree skirts. She has one that I made that must be 15 or 20 years old lol.
Hi Martha, your plan sounds like a very fun one. The kits sound like the perfect one to get going this year and the Christmas Tree Skirt - sounds like a great plan, and if you start early, that can surely be done by Christmas!
I really want to cross stitch Fairy Tale Houses by Owl Forest. I have looked at it for so long I think this year I will make it. Can I just say, you two are so lovely! And your cross stitch is so neat, it is very inspiring. I hope you both have a great 2023 🎉
I love this video. I always cut my fabric to size first then start my pattern in the center, but I notice that you are working with a large piece of fabric and working from a corner. Is this more efficient? Please tell me more. I like the charts that have the quilt block designs and will be trying those.
I think your method is more efficient! I'm just winging it with the fabric, it seems like a better idea to have it cut first rather than working with larger fabric for no reason. My idea with that is that IF I didn't like what I stitch or ended up not finishing what I started, at least I can stop and still have a large piece to make other things with.
The Tuula will be so beautiful!
Hi Amira!!! So nice to see your face and to also meet your lovely sister! Thank you for sharing your stitching with us!
Aw you are most welcome Susan! It is so much fun to talk about stitching and plans.. thank you for visiting us here 🥰

I have a sister who’s a maker, too, but we live too far apart to craft together. Lucky you!

Aww, you are so sweet! I would love to try out Owl Forest pattern one day! I've seen amazing ones being stitched. The fairy Tale one is gorgeous.
I would love to show you my cross stich works, done for so many years ago. I live in Sweden, so my work is so different from yours!
O how lovely!
